Following yesterday's post about the Gantz Live Action Anime Movie we have yet another Otaku related upcoming Live Action Movie for, of all things, Tekken. Oh joy another feature film based on a fighter game franchise. I don't think I can contain my enthusiasm enough.... Yeah I'm not too excited about the idea of another one of these movies either. Lets face it, has any fighting game movie been all that great? They were OK to good rentals but no box office smashes. Maybe this one can change all that though.
After reading the wiki about it it doesn't look like there is even an American distributor for it at the moment even though it's opening in Japan in early March and being released on DVD in the UK in early April so I'm thinking with how wonderfully well the previous fighting game movies did we'll be getting this one on DVD as well. If that's the case I'll check it out, definitely wouldn't waste my money on seeing it in the theater that's for sure.
Considering one of the best parts of the Tekken video games is the cute girls in little outfits that seem to have their own gravity fields allowing the girls' ample bosoms the ability to bounce like nothing else, well we can hope right. In any case here is a trailer for Tekken.
