So long another week and month. As today is the last day of January and a rather mild January it was too. Not much happened last week of course other than a bunch of shopping for cool stuff to spend my refund on. Other than that not much happened this last week as well. You know that means Race Queen goodness for the picture and an exciting video as well. Of course I wonder if this will show up on Otaku.fm since it's seems to be having troubles of late updating with new posts.

So the first month of the new year is done and it seemed to be a pretty tame one so either the rest of the summer is going to be just down right nasty or February and March are going to be nasty. One way or the other really. I'd just like it if it would just rain hard (not flooding hard though) up until April and just taper off to a nice enjoyable spring and summer.

Of course this is to look at what happened last week. Did a lot of window shopping and looking around for a good quality used laptop that would make life easier for me since the PC is acting up lately. When I get everything finally shipped to me and I get a chance I'll do a complete Tax refund swag collection post. I did however not get the chicken walker. I went there on the next day after getting the refund and sure as shit they were all gone...ffffffuuuuuu. Totally sucked so I picked up an anime DVD instead.

Checked in for the Jury Duty thing on Friday night and don't have to go in on Monday as all the cases where settled. I'll have to check in every day of the week this next week to see if I have to go into court. At least we got it worked out at work on how to schedule everything without screwing up everyone's schedule.

So yeah that's pretty much it. Really nothing at all exciting so I'll just leave you with something fun to watch. All 250 Porsche 911 Sport Classics have been sold so the closest most of will ever get to see one is in videos. This is a pretty good video of one.

Special addition. At the end of January there is a HUGE Firearms and accessories Trade Show that features all the new and cool stuff coming out in the new year. It's held in Las Vegas like all good Trade Shows are. That show is called SHOT Show and I've never been to one but it's on my list of things to see before I get to old to enjoy such things. The Shot Show is a great place to find out about new and exciting things coming out of the firearm community the only problem is that this year there didn't look like there was anything just downright...ZOMG! THAT'S F'ING COOL!

This year looked like a good year to expand on all the cool stuff that you can add to to your firearms and some cool gear to keep your ass from getting any additional inlets and outlets. I liked that you can now add a little holosight to the side of your M4 (or similar) to use with the grenade launcher.

The tactical gear is looking more and more futuristic with new face protection plates to be added to helmets to help protect soldier's faces from gun fire. Also new camo patterns are all the rage as well. I was a little disappointed in Magpul since they didn't bring any new cool guns this year like last years FPG but they did bring some cool stuff like their big UniMog transporter which is I guess for sell here. Their Ronin Bike was also there and that thing looked bad ass so they can forgiven a bit for no new cool gun.

Of course what would a trade show be without those lovely booth babes. Though I didn't see anything to spectacular in the that department either. Of course it doesn't help that I like the Asian and there wasn't a single one (minus one Asian party girl) but for Shot Show it's all about the cool guns to look at and I found some good places to look at those pictures. This is a good start to the photos from a guy named SMGLee who takes some dang good pictures for M4Carbine.net. I also found a link to this place that has a flickr account that has some cool pictures also. Then there is this person who is the official photographer for Magpul and they are some fantastic photos.

So I missed posting this on Friday since I spent to much time trying to figure out who I was going to post (I really need to think of that before hand) and I just couldn't come up with a good idea until I hit upon doing Girls Generation also known as SNSD which is short for So Nyuh Shi Dae which is their correct Korean name. While I may not know their lyrics their songs are pretty infectious and they are all a bunch of foxy Korean girls dancing about. What's not to like about that.

I've been following them since I first saw their first video on YouTube called Gee which had the girls dancing around in clothing shop. It was almost instant fandom at that moment. However, that moment came when I saw them doing the song Tell Me Your Wish on stage in tight cute little military style uniforms. They were HOT! and I pretty much followed them from there and have branched off to some other K-pop girl groups as well thanks to them. SNSD is getting pretty popular outside of Korean and have been translating their songs into other languages including English. They even made an appearance on the Dick Clark New Year show apparently but I missed that.

SNSD has definitely made a name for themselves and continue to do so with their latest release called OH! which I've just checked out and it's another hit. You can find all the latest and greatest about SNSD at this forum jph!p.com in the mean time here is their latest music video for Oh!

Found out that I hadn't blogged yet about one of the DVD extras that I had recently finished which is a shame since it was a pretty good anime short. So it's a good time to look back at Hatsukoi Limited - Gentei Shoujo (Girl Limited) which was a six episode short anime story that came with the DVD releases of the original series. The main cast took a more cameo appearances roll as the story revolved around self entitled megaklutz Andou Soako as she goes through the school day with a twist.

That twist of course is that because she was in such a rush to get to school on time, for a change, she managed to leave her house without wearing any underwear, oops. And thus begins her day of being constantly embarrassed by the thought that her fellow classmates will find out that she's not wearing any underwear. And of course what the boys might get a nice little peek at the goods at any given moment. She makes it all the more easy for them by hitting just about every flag in the book for potential moments by falling down stairs, ripping her cloths during PE, being groped in a crowd, a nice up shot or two and best of all that damn broken faucet that comes out of no where that just happens to soak her to the bone. At the end of the day she needs to strip down to dry her cloths leaving her completely naked locked in a room.

Which oddly enough brings us to the funnies part of the whole short. A young lad does his best to help her out by offering her a towel to dry up with. And to make her more comfortable he covers his eyes with another towel. So what does Andou Soako do with said offered towel? Well instead of covering her naked body she of course covers her own eyes with the towel. That just cracked me the hell up for some reason.

Being Hatsukoi Limited you don't get to see any thing naughty, not even a perky nipple or two that I can remember. Very tame fanservice really and while the plot might be rather generic and predictable it still turns out to be an amusing little side story that entertains for the few short minutes that you get for each episode. Of course this little side story reminds me how much I wish that some bright anime company will some day soon license this series for the States. I can hope anyways right.

Can't find the animated end credits video anymore but I'll leave you with the ending song to enjoy still I guess.

Hmmm... passed out girl with her ass in the air exposing her panties. Yup must be an AIKa anime. I finished the third installment of the on going AIKa story and sure enough it just can't be AIKa without the overdose of the fanservice in the way of girls getting constantly knocked out and exposing their panties in one way or another. AIKa: Zero takes place 3 years after R-16 and 7 years before Agent which I haven't had a chance to finish since Netflix doesn't have the second disk anymore.

In any case the third but second in the time line story finds Aika and group from R-16 investigating the disappearance of several cute high school girls. It looks like the problem comes from one particular club organization. Aika gets involved when she accidentally stumbles upon what is going on when she crash lands her little jet fighter and goes to look and see what caused her jet to crash.

Turns out it's an alien race that has taken over the bodies of the girls by doing a bit of surprise butt sex of all things. No really I'm not kidding the alien takes over the girl and to take over another girl golden like energy tentacles come out of the girl to hoist her up spread her legs and another tentacle jabs her in the butt. Half the girls are strung up to be poked and prodded later while the other half run around battling Aika and gang.

So yeah lots of nudity, lots of pantie flashing, some good fighting and I always laugh at them using "knock out" bullets but some good gun fights as well. Aika and gang of course kick much ass saving all the girls from some deep space examination I'm sure. Save for the two ring leaders who are taken captive by another girl. It was fun and will more than likely be picked up by someone for release in the States.

This last week I finished a fun little anime called Nyan Koi! Which is mostly about a guy with bad luck and more girls than he knows chasing after him even though he only has eyes for one girl. Add in some Yakuza and cats and you have the making of a fun little short anime series that kept me entertained and actually looking forward to another season if they do make it, since this first season was left wide open.

Nyan Koi! is a harem rom-com that focuses on the very bad luck life of Junpei who lives with his mom, sister and pet cat even though he suffers horribly from allergies to the cat. He is madly in love with Kaede even though she seems to oblivious to this fact. She also happens to really love animals. Junpei's childhood friend is also there to keep him in line and ends up wanting to be with Junpei but doesn't want to hurt her friend Kaede's feeling either. Her name is Kanako and she also keeps another suiter of Junpei in line. The very Tomboyish Nagi who is the track star and the daughter as it turns out of the local Yakuza family. There is also the twin-tail twins who are daughters of the local Buddhist Monk who go around and do their magic spell stuff and the yuonger one much to the dismay of the older one stalks Junpei. Last but not least in the harem is the older college mail carrier who takes a liking to Junpei.

There is also a ton of cats that like to bug poor Junpei as well. Junpei's trouble starts when he accidentally knocks over the cat deity of the local Buddhist Shrine and breaks it. The twins find out about it and tell him what he needs to do to lift the curse. Of course this means poor Junpei allergic to cats can now communicate with them and has to help them out so that he can lift the curse and not turn into a cat himself. Most of the time he tries to keep it from his friends and this causes all sorts of comedy moments through out the series. Actually there is a really good amount of comedy in the series.

Fanservice is lite, there is a NICE swimsuit episode and bathing scenes here and there but the majority of it is in only those parts. There's nothing to OMG THIS IS AWESOME! stuff going on it's a tried and true plot with a slightly different take on things. I'll say that it is definitely fun to watch if you don't have an overload already of the same type of series. Nothing gets resolved in the end of course and there may or may not be another season, which I'll be looking forward to anyways. Will it get picked up for the US? More than likely not since it doesn't really offer anything new or exciting or follows the same type of stuff that is being licensed at the moment.

One more week down and only another one until I get to do my civic duty and serve on Jury Duty fun fun fun...not. This week wasn't all that exciting though pretty hum drum you know. That of course means WOOT! more hottie Race Queen girls to keep you company for this post. This time it's some lovely ladies from last weeks Tokyo Auto Salon which I commonly call TAS. There is a ton more photos out there as well so keep looking and you'll find some wonderful images from this year's TAS.

One of the stupidest things that happened this week is that I almost wasted $50 buying a very not new (film lens and not digital) canon 18-5mm kit lens from of all places Kazakhstan. I was an idiot and while I normally make sure to click on the USA only products tab on ebay I happened to go back a few to many pages and when I changed the price listing this $30 lens popped up and I was checking it out and figure well it's an older version so it doesn't have the IS like the new ones but for $30 it's not to bad, so I bid with a top bid of $35 because it wasn't worth more than that. What I didn't see is where it was from and the shipping cost. It was from Kazakhstan and the shipping was $20. FFFFUUUU damn it I really didn't want to win the auction after I found that out and there was an hour left but not a single other person bid for the lens and I won. FFFFFFUUUUUUU so I looked at how I could get out of the auction since I really didn't want a non US non IS lens no matter how cheap it was. Found out that I could e-mail the owner and ask to cancel the transaction and thankfully they understood and let me cancel the bid so I didn't have to get the lens and I can look for a newer US lens.

Still haven't received my Federal Tax refund yet but that will probably be on Monday or Tuesday hopefully. The state refund will take longer as they didn't process up it until Wednesday. Of course that meant I spent a great deal of time window shopping on the Internet on how to spend it and then I'd remember that I have to do this and that with the money first and that always puts a damper on things but damn if I'm not going to pick up one of the Chicken Walkers from Wal-Mart before they disappear again. What ever happened to the $25 POTF Walker from the days of the resurgence of Star Wars toys. The new one is almost twice the price now, but damn it's freaking awesome compared to the older one.

One of the cooler places that I've been window shopping at is the blog site called The Awesomer and the name lives up to the just plan out and out cool and awesome stuff there. The also don't just have links to cool things to buy but other cool stuff going on and I highly suggest checking it out and bookmarking it.

I'm glad to say also that we were able to hold our 11th anime-versary for MoNAC at the Hotel without a hitch on Saturday but we didn't get to watch much since we had to have a stupid discussion that could have just been done some other time so we ended up only watching two things but that and the dinner before hand at the China Grand Buffet was a good time I think.

There was a lot of cool stuff I found this week while surfing the internet and window shopping and some of it included hot girls in video form and you can check out one of those videos here. There is a serious amount of TAS video coverage as well if you just look around YouTube a little bit. And here is just one of the videos I found.

The military has been looking to update and replace their old workhorse M4 for a while and compation has been going on for Firearms manufactors to win a contract to do just that. The Bushmaster ACR is just one such example. Originally designed by Magpul as the Masada Bushmaster took over production of the rifle and dropped the Masada name.

Designed to incorporate several good qualities of today's battle rifles into one weapon system the ACR is chambered in the 5.56 Nato round and can be easily configured for each individual shooter. The gas piston firing system allows the weapon to function reliably under many conditions that the M4 can just not handle including over the beach drills and being caked in mud and sand. The civilian version should be out but with today's prices it's going to be a humdinger of price point even if the MSRP is sub $2k the dealer mark up is going to be crazy.

I have been looking for a very particular Asian movie that features Reon Kadena and other lovely Japanese Idols and last week while surfing about a new forum that I discovered while looking for a Chinese model I finally came across a download of Secret Undercover Agent: Wildcats in Strip Royale and even a behind the scenes video and I thought to my self finally I can see this craziness I wonder if it'll be worth the wait considering this movie came out in the middle of 2008.

To be honest I can't answer that just yet since I haven't seen it even though it's sitting there on my HDD. Also it doesn't have subs but I don't think that will matter much with this video. Definitely will have to watch it this weekend though.

Now most of you might be a bit more familiar with Reon thanks to her handful of animated gif images that have been floating around the internet mostly that one where she's dancing around with her walkman like thing and you are getting a nice under boob view. You know which one I'm talking about, it's the first thing I'd ever seen of her and yeah I had to have more too.

Reon is also I believe the first of the Foxy Friday Idols who's actually done some nude photoshots and videos you can find a ton of good stuff at Scanlover and Jappydolls.

Lately though she's been well off the Idol radar and she hasn't really done much modeling although a quick little search showed that she is still doing TV which is good I guess. Wouldn't mind seeing a new photoset here and there though.

I can't find the trailer for the movie anymore but I did find this nice little video of here modeling the cat suit from the film though.
