Found out that I hadn't blogged yet about one of the DVD extras that I had recently finished which is a shame since it was a pretty good anime short. So it's a good time to look back at Hatsukoi Limited - Gentei Shoujo (Girl Limited) which was a six episode short anime story that came with the DVD releases of the original series. The main cast took a more cameo appearances roll as the story revolved around self entitled megaklutz Andou Soako as she goes through the school day with a twist.
That twist of course is that because she was in such a rush to get to school on time, for a change, she managed to leave her house without wearing any underwear, oops. And thus begins her day of being constantly embarrassed by the thought that her fellow classmates will find out that she's not wearing any underwear. And of course what the boys might get a nice little peek at the goods at any given moment. She makes it all the more easy for them by hitting just about every flag in the book for potential moments by falling down stairs, ripping her cloths during PE, being groped in a crowd, a nice up shot or two and best of all that damn broken faucet that comes out of no where that just happens to soak her to the bone. At the end of the day she needs to strip down to dry her cloths leaving her completely naked locked in a room.
Which oddly enough brings us to the funnies part of the whole short. A young lad does his best to help her out by offering her a towel to dry up with. And to make her more comfortable he covers his eyes with another towel. So what does Andou Soako do with said offered towel? Well instead of covering her naked body she of course covers her own eyes with the towel. That just cracked me the hell up for some reason.
Being Hatsukoi Limited you don't get to see any thing naughty, not even a perky nipple or two that I can remember. Very tame fanservice really and while the plot might be rather generic and predictable it still turns out to be an amusing little side story that entertains for the few short minutes that you get for each episode. Of course this little side story reminds me how much I wish that some bright anime company will some day soon license this series for the States. I can hope anyways right.
Can't find the animated end credits video anymore but I'll leave you with the ending song to enjoy still I guess.
