I told you I was going to blog about my current anime watch list last week and now I'm finally getting around to it. The Summer season is coming to an end and the new fall season is only a month away yet on many of the new shows I'm barely 5 episodes into the new shows. Seems like the summer has been a very slow release time for subs. Which kinda sucks but hey I'm not going to complain I still have three rounds of Super GT that I haven't gotten around to watching and a couple movies as well. So I'm kinda slow too. In any case this is my current Anime watching roundup
Here's the new stuff:
Birdy The Mighty TV -- Pretty entertaining Scifi show but seriously slow subs
Blade of the Immortal -- OMG, I can hear the Jews screaming about the swastika already.
Eve no Jikan -- Just barely got the 1st episode but looks to be an interesting Scifi show so far.
Ikkitousen: Great Guardians -- Should be titled Great Fanservice Goodness.
Koihime Musou -- Chinese Yuri Warriors or something to that effect.
Sekirei -- Yes of course more girl on girl fighting and more fanservice. Do we spot a trend yet?
Strike Witches -- Finally, another Loli gun fighter show. Just with more pantsu
Ryoko's Case Files -- And a show that doesn't relie on fanservice. I Really like this one.
Xam'd: Lost Memories -- Found on the PlayStation Network this is another world wide release.
Still chugging along with these:
Allison and Lillia -- Ok now after 13 episodes we meet Lillia and it's Allison's daughter talk about twists in story telling. Might blog about the half way point.
BLASSREITER -- LOL yet another twist in the plot. So just WHO is the bad guy in this story?
Bleach -- It's bleach. This filler arch isn't half bad actually.
Crystal Blaze -- What happened to the subs for this show. Really, it's pretty good why drop it.
Macross Frontier -- OMG the battles are looking fantastic and the love triangle is at it's peak.
Masked Maid Guy -- Maids and fanservice, figure the subs would be out in a timely manner but no subs for a while
Penguin Musume Heart -- Cute lil' show but no subs for a while
RD Senno Chosashitsu -- Hey it's a curvy Motoko. Has a very strong GitS vibe to it.
Soul Eater -- Still one of the funniest shows of the season. Even while it's getting more serious.
To Love Ru -- Kind of slowed down on watching this as it just seems like the same episode over and over again.
Vampire Knight -- Still need to finish this but with so much better stuff out there it just gets pushed back further and further. Maybe I'll marathon the rest of it just to get it out of the way.
So there you have it in a nutshell. Seems like a lot but when the subs are coming out as slow as they currently are it's not hard to always have something to watch. Hopefully I can finish up some of the stuff that has finished airing already before the new stuff starts coming in September.
