So yeah work is still moving along. Still have water issues, no food issues and of course upper management running around not knowing what to do. They did just find out about the family who have living there since November of last year and haven't paid but a few hundred dollars on their $20k+ bill. Don't know how that's going to be resolved but personally I'm happy to have them gone.
This week my grandma decided that she was going to move into an assisted living facility where she knows some people and plays bridge. So this was more than likely my last week to drive her around and take her grocery shopping even though I was getting used to it at had her little routine pretty much worked out.
Of course my sister offered to buy grandma's car and while I don't entirely mind (not like I have the money to buy it) I really don't want to see my sister trash the shit out of a pretty damn nice car with only 36k miles on it. Still it's going to be an interesting thing seeing where things end up going or being sold to. I'll have to call and see if my dad and uncle need any help with anything.
So yeah the weekend rolled around and I did the autocross thing on Sunday in some damn hot weather. I'm just happy that I had the shade to use and there was an occasional cool breeze to help. That and lots of water even if a lot of it ended up on my head. I've finished editing the pictures and uploading the videos but haven't written the blog. I'll do that after I get done with this one. From that hot Sunday it looks like it might be cooling down finally.
In any case I did see some cool videos this week (and impressive anime Mardock Scramble whoohoo) and here are the videos worth mentioning.
Race Queens are always worthwhile
Drag Racing RWB's finally on Youtube
This looks like an interesting wire-fu movie
And Mardock Scramble...watched it, it was awesome...damn cliffhanger

During the week work was pretty normal and I only needed to take my grandma to the store to get a battery for her watch and drive my self nuts as I helped her about. It was also funny getting in an argument about how to open a wine bottle. I was trying to do it properly and she said that was wrong and was showing me a way to do that while it worked in the end it was also totally not the correct way to do it.
With that out of the way the weekend soon arrived and I got tricked into going to the NocternoX event on Saturday to film one of the members of the SCCA club getting an award only to receive an award myself. That was definitely an interesting night at the autocross event for sure and you can read all about it and check out the videos and pictures on the car blog here -- NocternoX.
In only stayed for about half the event though because I had a friend's birthday party to get to as well. And it's interesting that all the friends from IMS were in one corner of the house hanging out and the Vietnamese friends and family were in another corner of the house while a third group of friends were in another corner of the house hanging out. I was a sober nanny and enjoyed the people watching like usual. Didn't hurt at all that there were some very fine ladies sporting some killer outfits to act as some nice eye candy for the night. The night was interesting and I had fun. Was supposed to go out Sunday and shoot a car but that has been postponed until a later date.
So I spent the rest of Sunday editing pictures and videos from the NocternoX and what not. Thankfully I did find some other cool videos during the week to help supplement the lack of last week's weekly review.
And here are the videos.
Beserk Anime Movie Trailer
As a photographer I found this very cool
More HOT as HELL K-pop goodness

So lets see anything exciting going on at work? Nope the remodeling is coming along slowly and I do mean slowly. But for the most part nothing all that OMG! exciting nothing even to rant about either for a change. Kinda nice really.
The roommate was gone all week so I had a chance to really clean up the house mow the lawn wash the car and just get a ton of stuff done. Did some work on the car as well. It was a nice lazy clean the house week. Worked on the new computer as well. Getting all the files off the first computer moved over to the new one so I can reformat the old one and turn it into a Computer for MoNAC to watch videos on instead of having to rely on people bringing a laptop all the time.
Once that's done the kitchen table wont be my work space when I'm working on photography stuff as I'll be picking up some extra ram for the new machine soon so that I can use Photoshop on it as well. That's the only thing I can't do on the new machine since it's lacking some RAM power. Other than that it has been a great little machine. And I'm sure MoNAC will be happy with their own computer.
With that it was the weekend and time for another adventure out to the DAA for more autocross action. The Jetta handled the drive out there great until the drive back and the Odometer stopped working, thankfully that not that hard of a fix just takes some time and isn't something that will cause the car not work properly I'll just have low miles on the car.
One great thing about this autocross though is that I got a chance to try and take some pictures of the handful of flying WWII fighter planes that are housed at the airport by where we race. I tried my best but I wasn't in the best of places to take pictures of them this time.
Now I'm just sitting at the kitchen table editing photos eating dinner and writing my blog. I did find some interesting videos this week as well to share.

So yeah the work was pretty normal nothing really happened there to complain about or mention. I was pretty busy running around getting the new Jetta registered and ready to roll on the road. Although I did at one point lose the registration for the car and I was frantically looking for it only to give up thinking it was lost to the void only to go out to the car open the door to get something and flop there it was.
Also on the Jetta front I just installed a Wink Mirror on Monday before heading off for the mandatory work meeting and you can read about that on the latest Project Jetta blog post on the car blog.
Saturday was a relaxing day off from work and everything as we still haven't found a new venue for the MoNAC meetups yet and gave me a chance to get everything ready for Autocross on Sunday. And I was really looking forward to it thinking it wasn't going to be slight rain in the morning and good after that.
And boy was I freaking wrong. It sucked it rained and rained hard then it was windy as all hell as well and just made for a crappy autocross event and I wen home after the first half of the event. I was just too wet, cold and miserable to continue even though by the time I got home the sun had come out and it stopped raining. You can read all about that and check out the pictures and video here as well -- Autocross: May 8, 2011.
So I spent the rest of Sunday taking a nap editing pictures and then heading out to a friends house to watch the latest F1 race which was a nice way to finish the week out.
I did find some good videos this week as well and you can check them out here.
That 3D RQ video of course.
Found some good Japanese Racing videos
This week Hatsune Miku also made an appearance in a Toyota Corolla

To be honest the week was pretty standard until the weekend once again. Work was the same for the most part. We did get new shirts for work, short sleeve polo shirts for the win. But yeah nothing else. It wasn't until Friday when I had an extra day off and was able to go to a MoNAC movie night meetup. We watched The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya and I have to say I really did enjoy the movie. I'll write a post about it later this week.
Saturday rolled around way to soon but I was up and out to the Autocross event bright and early for more videos and pictures. I stopped by the Nampa Holiday Inn Express to try out the new pancake machine that we will be getting later this year. Fresh bland pancakes hit the spot but I had to laugh at the machine since it makes farting sounds. They really were generic pancakes but hey they hit the spot. You can check out the Autocross action on my car blog here -- Autocross: April 23, 2011.
With that finished Sunday was a day to edit pictures and videos and then head to work. Only thanks to a sick co-worker that came a lot sooner than normal as I was heading into work at 10pm instead of 11:30pm. Managed to get a lot of the videos uploaded on Sunday and I was able to finish editing the pictures on Monday. And that was pretty much my week. Fun weekend boring weekday as usual.
At least this week I have a whole slew of cool videos to share.
Guilty Pleasure Ninja anime...check
Korean booth girls dancing...check
New RWB video...check

On the power supply front they did send a new one out on Friday so hopefully I'll have that soon. Then I can upgrade the laptop to Windows 7 and hopefully that will help with the video playback for MoNAC as we have been using some one elses laptop for videos and all but the chunky as all hell Star Driver video and DVD playback the other laptop does a better job.
Speaking of MoNAC our current location is about to shut it's doors for the last time. We'll have one last meetup there this coming Saturday and then it's anyones guess as to what will be happening with the weekly MoNAC meeting. To be honest and fair the current location was around for longer than I thought they would be.
Work was hella busy and it's looking like this week will be exactly the same. So no fun there. And until I get my laptop back I'll blogging most of this week as well. We'll see. I'm glad though that we did get rid of the nasty people who were staying at the hotel the last week. Now we just need one more family to take a nice little hike to a house or even a rental. Something, anything. They owe us enough money that they could have put down a huge downpayment on a house or bought an inexpensive new Kia. But lets not worry about that because we have the weekend to talk about.
Oh what a weekend. Cleaned the house on Saturday before and after MoNAC to get ready for the first Formula 1 race party at our house. And hello! I'm actually lead on the Fantasy F1 league at the moment. Hopefully I can keep it up. Can't really do any good trades yet though. The party was a lot of fun, even though I was exhausted after the autocross event.
Yup first autocross of the season was also on Sunday, even though I missed Saturday's event due to my work schedule and MoNAC I had a good time even though Mother Nature was a serious bitch and couldn't make up her mind whether she wanted to rain or shine the entire time. I did hand out some cards to people. And I loved some of the cars that were out there. Not one but 4 different Porsche 911 cars were out there. An old school 930 Turbo a clean little 993 and two different 996 models an early C2 version and a later C4S model. I was in heaven I tell you. I'll have a full write up later in the week when I get all the pictures and videos uploaded.
And then today I took my roommate to the airport so that he could fly down to Vegas for Spring Break leaving me with the house all to myself and the doggy. I'm also looking forward to this weekend as it'll be the first one where I'll be able to work a little bit on the Jetta as hopefully the weather will be nice since I probably wont be seeing the garage any time soon as the RX8 is back in there with cooling issues. That car is just cursed I tell you. Or Dennis Dillon really did a shitty ass job on putting that new engine in there. I'd gowith the latter truthfully.
Apparently I was really busy as I don't have any videos to share this week...BOOOOO

OK so yeah with two days worth of Videos and Photos it took me three days to get everything posted up. I think they turned out great actually even with the over cast and the rain. You can find both days here and here on the other blog if you want to check out the videos and pictures. Pictures and videos of Ferraris and Honda CRZs as well as other cars as well.
The brakes are working well so I'm really happy about that but I haven't been able to get any other work done at the moment. I haven't been able to really get any yard work done either that I wanted to. I borrowed my grandma's leaf blower to do a quick job of the leaves but thanks to working Saturday night and it raining all day Sunday the only time I really got to use it was this morning and I did as much as I could with the cord that was attacked to it since the other one was buried under the leaves and just wet and nasty. That and I almost forgot that I had a work meeting in the early afternoon I had to go to and I had to get the leafblower back to my grandma today as well.
Sunday afternoon we went to a friends house to watch the F1 race and enjoyed that the drive up to their house was freaking nice but the race was really boring. It was a flag to flag Red Bull race but thankfully Vettel was in front so the final race still has a possibility of being interesting.
And believe it or not that was pretty much the week sure I had to go back to work but it wasn't all that bad laundry wasn't horrible, the people weren't horrible but I had some dumb ass pot smokers on Saturday that had to have had the worst smelling pot ever and at first I thought it was something like a skunk but after a few seconds it sunk in that it was pot. Didn't smell it in the hotel which was a good thing and less of a hassle than it could have been.
So now until next week I'll leave you with a couple videos for the week.
Race Queen goodness
Upcoming mecha anime goodness

The reason why this weekly review post is late is thanks to the two days of Autocross. I wasn't going to go to the first day but a couple interesting cars showed up so I had to go. I'll be posting on the other blog in a couple days and I'll link to that here. Sunday was an interesting autocross day as well. Follow that up with Halloween and trick or treaters and I was done for the day. Monday was just a day to get all the videos and pictures sorted out. I got the event pictures for Saturday done and I'll be working on Sunday's tomorrow. Hopefully I'll have everything done by Thursday.
Since I took a vacation week I was going to do a lot of work on my car but a simple brake pad job turned into a lot larger job thanks to one of the rear disks being almost entirely ground down to nothingness. Check out the picture. Pretty nasty and you should definitely check all your brakes before you decide that you don't need to replace some pads based on only looking at one side of the car. So instead of just replacing the pads I ended up having to replace one of the disks as well. And while replacing the disk I managed to mess up the caliper while I was turning the piston back in. Since the price and work to rebuild the caliper was not looking like a fun time I just got a new caliper instead. Of course the new caliper didn't like the old brake line and leaked a lot which meant I had to figure out how to fix that issue. Liquid Teflon thread sealant did the job and almost everything is good. For some reason my parking brake light is on and I can't figure out why.
Thanks to the longer than normal brake job I didn't get a whole lot of other stuff done that I wanted to do. I'll have to do the oil change next weekend I guess. While I was chilling in the middle of doing the brake job I did get a lot of Anime watched. Finished a couple series that had been on the back burner for a while and a few anime movies as well.
With all that said and done the week was pretty good I liked not working for a while and I think I got enough done to make it worth it. Also I found some cool videos for the video of the week.

So this week work was pretty much the same old same old. Trained the new girl to do a night of night audit so that I can take a vacation and finally go back to my 4 day work week. So with her help laundry was a nice thing for a change. During the week I picked up a new laptop table for the bedroom so that I could easily set up the laptop where ever I needed to. It's a bit flimsy to be honest but with only the laptop on it it shouldn't be destroyed anytime soon.
Of course that brings us to the rainy weekend. This weeks MoNAC anime meetup was canceled because there was a fandom dance also going on this weekend. I didn't mind though as it gave me a day to relax watch the Korean F1 race and check out the Super GT qualifying. And with Sunday it was time to check out and blog about the final pointed race of the Super GT
The race was intense and I'm happy with how it turned out and I'm looking forward to the final race the All Star race early in November. I'm also really looking forward to next week as I only work on Monday followed by the rest of the week off to work on my car and the house/yard. Hopefully it's done raining by then. I got a list of things to do with the car and hopefully I'll get it all finished before the weekend as that's when the last autocross of the year is.
Until then how about you enjoy this week's video. OK you get two videos this week.
First of course is a new trailer for the American Top Gear show.
The second is D1 Race Queens

So like I said the week was pretty normal work eat sleep routine nothing to special there. I want to play with the new employee's jet black hair but what's new there. I was just looking forward to the weekend because round 5 of the Super GT was happening on Sunday along with next F1 party. I was getting ready for that and the next Autocross event that was also happening on Saturday afternoon evening.
It also turned out that there was a small car showing happening about three blocks from our house so I was going to check that out as well before the autocross event. I'll blog more about those on my car blog a bit later. Went to the car show than the autocross event. I wasn't planing to stay the entire time but I ended up doing just that anyway. When I got home and jumped in the shower I found out that I had actually burned my left calf pretty damn well while out at the autocross event. It was just that hot. I would have been better off in shorts and a crap ton of sunscreen. I didn't get sunburned though so I'm happy about that even though I did run out of sunscreen at the last couple hours of sunlight.
Sunday morning was filled with watching the latest Super GT videos and looking for all manner of info about the race including new Race Queen pictures. While doing this I was looking through my pictures from the car show and autocross event. Later in the evening it was off to a friend's house for the F1 party and even though I found out the result (thanks to a blurb on a Super GT thread) I kept my mouth shut and enjoyed the race with friends.
That pretty much ended the week of excitement after we got home and I passed out. During the week I did find some pretty cool videos including this one.

This week my grandma was moved from the Hospital to a rehab place and I picked up her mail a couple days and got that to my dad so he could get it to his brother so that her bills could be paid. I was going to plant her little plants for her while she was gone since she was really worried about that but by the time I got there with some free time to do that someone had already beaten me to the punch. But she's doing better.
Work was the typical thing however I went back to my normal schedule and whole hell it seems so different now. Working on Sunday didn't work out all that well either but now its back to the normal schedule and the same old same old crap from work.
That leaves me with the weekend. The roommate was still bummed about his poor RX8 still not being finished even though it was promised how many times now so he didn't feel like going to any of the Car events this weekend and I really don't blame him. This week there was a RallyX, that I went to, another NocturnoX and a handful of car shows. The roommate's dad was up to help with the Subaru while he was here for the Mustang and Ford car show. Finally got the pain in the ass bolt, that already broke one wrench off and now we're just waiting for a Subaru mechanic to come take a quick look at the timing belt and what not. should be fixed by next week but the question is which one will be done first?
My dad stopped by to pick up grandma's mail and his Father's Day card and was gone as quick as he arrived leaving me with Sunday sort of mess around looking for new Race Queen pictures and checking out the YouTube posted recap of the Super GT race from Sepang. And that was my week.
Enjoy this little video this week:

So this last week was pretty interesting as the roommate hosted a F1 race for friends on IMS which was a good time even if I couldn't partake in the drinking since I had to head off to work after the race. Everyone had fun and the roommate's dog probably had petting overdose I'm sure. Of course the roommate wasn't having any fun the next day after waking up sick. The next day was worse though as he had found out that he was being laid off. That really put a damper on the week. My week wasn't going much better as I was trying to figure out my budget and it just wasn't working out that well, and I knew I was worried about it as I had a dream about teeth falling out and I heard somewhere that the reason for that is because you're worried about money troubles. Thought that was interesting but whatever.
I got all the videos and pictures from the previous weeks autocross event eventually uploaded and posted to the various web pages and what not. I need to post a blog though about the May 30, 2010 event still though, but the May 29, 2010 event has been posted. Thankfully there isn't another one until June 19 but I have another thing going on this next weekend which should prove to be fun and interesting.
So yeah I got everything I needed to get done done and had Sunday all to myself as a day to just veg the hell out and not do anything. Of course that nice calm was interrupted when my roommate said "Oh shit" and I went to check and see what was up only to find out that one of the people who was over for the F1 party was involved in a accident that morning thanks to a dumb ass drunk driver. The roommate when to go visit her at the hospital but I elected to stay home as I have an aversion to hospitals as I've had too many not fun experiences with them. That and I'm sure there was going to be a crap ton of people there already so I just sent her a message on facebook instead. Get better soon Jenna. And yeah that was the week.
So for a cheer me up how about a video of this cute Japanese lady from Dechau girls:
posted by sooyup on autocross, Mazda, rx-8, weekly review, youtube
So yeah this last week a lot of wasted time was spent on getting the RX8 to the dealership to be put back together and to get the Subaru back home to begin that repair project. Once the Subaru got back project started and the roommate's father stopped by to lend a hand on getting some things straightened out.
While the car stuff was getting sorted out the work stuff was pretty calm the breakfast gal finally had her baby so it's looking like I'll be doing the breakfast regardless of what percentage we are at. Sucks to be me but life goes on at least I had some time to watch some anime movies.
That leaves me with the weekend which was filled by Autocross and F1 and sleeping. Pretty much all I did during the weekend. Saturday and Sunday were spent at the Expo center filming the two day autocross event and I was worn out both days but did manage to wake up early on Sunday to watch the F1 race in Turkey and holy hell what a race. Today (Monday) the roommate is having some people over to watch the F1 race as well. Means I need to go to bed soon because I still have to go to work tonight since hotels don't close for Memorial Day like everyone else.
And for the video of the week...

So yeah while I was busy with work, searching for Race Queens and doing a bunch of other junk I also listed a few things up on Craigslist for sale but so far haven't sold anything just yet. Work wasn't that awful last week just a bit too much laundry though. So while that was going on I was helping the roommate tear down his Mazda RX-8 getting ready to swap engines. Some new parts showed up on the step (kinda don't like the UPS person for not ringing the doorbell) and some of the parts came in broken. Not good. One part I think was meant to be broken as it was only meant to keep the MAF sensor safe and not be used as an actual part of the rebuild, not entirely sure. So there are a lot of car parts in the living room and a lot of car parts all over the garage. I'll need to take some pictures as it goes.
Thursday morning really sucked though as my dad scared me half to death when he called me at work to tell me my grandma had fallen and broken her elbow. Of course when he was telling me this he had to pause both after telling me she had fallen and then when she had broken something. I really thought she had fallen and broken her hip or something more serious than that. I went and saw her on Friday and she looking OK a nice shiner on her eye like she got in the ring with Mike Tyson and her poor hand was just swollen. But she was doing all right.
Saturday was the adventure though as we had the first NocternoX (autocrossing at night) of the season but I only stayed for a while since I had to go to the Anime Club as I had the tubs again and completely forgot about the autocross event being on Saturday night. Sunday was Mother's Day and I did my level best to call my stepmom and Grandma and get them their cards but they were both doing other stuff that day. At least I was able to tell them happy Mother's Day. Sunday I spent most of the time editing the pictures that I had taken and a little bit of helping the roommate and another friend of ours do some more tearing down of the RX8. And that was the week.
Here's a cool video to enjoy for the week.

That interesting thing is I will be like a lot of other people in worrying about my job coming to an end. In July the Hotel that I work at goes on the Auction block to be sold off to the highest bidder. Hopefully the hotel gets sold to a nice set of new owners and I can keep my job. As for the current owner well all I can say is Karma's a bitch.
So with that little freak out the rest of the week was alright. It was my birthday that week so got a little bit of extra money that went right into food and gas so nothing awesome purchased with birthday money...poo. Instead with the nice weather I did some gardening in the yard and went to the third autocross event which I wrote about here on my other blog for all things automotive. It was a lot of fun and I had a good time. I think there was something else that I wanted to blog about but for the life of me I can't remember what the heck it was.
hmmmmm... this week's review is kinda short as well oh well sorry there wasn't much posted in the last few days as a way to say sorry how about you enjoy this lovely video of hot Asian ladies...

Saturday was one of the Driver class days where people can show up and learn proper driving techniques for autocrossing and daily driving. I didn't attend that day as I had other plans that day. I heard that some really interesting cars had come out for the event including the Tesla roadster from last year and a Prowler. Like all sports eventually something will go wrong. And the driver school saw the first incident with a collision of a car with a planter curb. No one was hurt other than perhaps a bruised ego the planter curb was put back together and while the car wasn't drivable it wasn't totaled and showed just how important safety during Autocross was.
Sunday was cold and seriously overcast which left me huddled in the corner of the parking lot bundled up. I took the umbrella along but once again didn't need it. Almost did because it was threatening to rain. I did however bring some bungee cords to hold my tripod to the case and latter to hold down the tripod in the wind which worked really well. I didn't have to worry once about my tripod and camera falling over if I wasn't paying attention to it in the gusty winds.
Thanks to the dark skies I was fiddling with the camera setting the entire time trying to find that right setting for good pictures but I just never did find it. And while I could fix a lot of it in good ol' Photoshop I ended up with just a ton of blurry pictures and half and half shots where part of the car was in focus while the other half wasn't. That was really annoying to me but I did get some really good pictures.
Thankfully the videos were a little bit better but with a whopping 90+ cars and drivers I ended up getting a lot of single videos per car with a handful of two videos per car. I probably would have gotten more videos if I had known that they were only going with 2 runs per car in the afternoon session so I missed some chances there.
It was also in the afternoon session where the second and worst incident happened when one of the cars lost traction and flipped. Yes flipped. I knew that sooner or latter something would happen it's just a rule of probability and Sunday was our day to have a major incident. Thankfully the driver was able to walk away unhurt (minus some bumps and bruises) under their own power and we were soon back to racing after everything was cleaned up. I didn't get any videos or pictures of the wreck though.
On the car front I did get videos and pictures of one of my lower holly grail cars a Nissan Skyline GT-R R33. One of several Skylines in the Boise area actually. So yes Skylines can do other things than drag race and hardpark. Both the Prowler and Tesla no showed to the autocross event even though I was hoping they would. Something way out there though was a New generation T-bird and a Merkur of all things. So there was definitely an interest mix of the usual the unusual and the super cool.
When it was all over and done with I came away with a really sore aching hand, 132 videos and 155 videos.
Pictures are located in this set here --> flickr
Videos can always be found here --> YouTube
However, you can check out one of the videos of Skyline right now.

I did find the Super Gt race on Torrent so I should watch it pretty soon and I'll keep looking for those cute Race Queens though. Some other interesting news that came out last week is the TAF2010 anime trailers lots of good looking things coming up soon including the very awesome looking High School of the Dead anime.
Since the week mostly sucked because work sucked the weekend was alright even if I did do some yard work and house work but some how that was good compared to the crap at work. Saturday evening was Anime Club meetup and that went pretty well no big drama there and it was a fairly large turn out but I had to head home early because Sunday was Autocross.
Doom and gloom. And we thought the last autocross was cold this one was colder, windier and seriously overcast the entire time. I put on sunscreen but honestly I probably wouldn't have needed to it was that gloomy. Now I'm just sitting here editing pictures and videos of the event. All in all a pretty normal week for Spring and the last one of March believe it or not. That's right a 1/4 of the year is now over.
One of the things I found this week is that the RQ group that does HQ photosets of the RaceQueens also shoots videos as well and I ran across one of those videos on YouTube this week. Makes me want to track down more of them.

So while my week was filled with editing and uploading videos and pictures from last Sunday's autocross event. To the point were I simply couldn't look at another picture of a car for a couple days my roommate decided to go off and get a doggie.
Yup we lose a roommate and gain a doggie. Yeah that's a fair trade I think. Of course that now means people will have to look out for epic amounts of LOLDog posts on facebook probably. But that's OK. So the weekend has been full of playing with the new dog. Guess it would be good to actually mention what he actually is. He's a black and white spotted Cocker Spaniel that is a touch overweight and runs sideways. He's definitely a fun little ball of energy though.
So yeah other than that I've been trying to follow the first round of the Super GT and more closely the going-ons of the Goodsmile Racing with Cox group and I found a lot of pictures including one of their new Race Queen outfits which are pretty cute and I also found some racing footage on YouTube of the race so I might not have to wait an entire week to see the race. I'm just happy that Goodsmile Racing was able to come in 12th which I believe is their best place since they started racing, better than the Z4 for sure.
Now I'm just relaxing and chilling out so I'm going to leave you with the Super GT racing coverage on YouTube that I found. Now hopefully I can find some cool pictures of the race and new race queens. Until next week.

The Snake River Region SCCA chapter had their first Autocross event this last weekend at the Idaho Center in Nampa ID and this first event was an interesting one. For starters it was on the same weekend as Daylight Savings Time so everyone was an extra bit tired for having to crawl out of bed an hour earlier than normal. Second even though it's already the middle of March it sure doesn't mean it's any warmer. It was a cold and sunny day. I didn't put up the umbrella because I wanted to sun to warm me up. My poor hand ached after the event from holding onto the camera in the cold.
I set up my gear for the best video shooting and totally got pwned by the sun since I was an idiot and forgot that the sun would be more to the south than would be good for pictures so I was having some issues with the sun especially since I didn't take the anti-glare lens for either cameras. Hey who doesn't like really shiny spots and harsh shadow.
As for the event itself the course had an awesome layout that was good for just about any car type. There was a huge turn out of cars for the first event with some 80 cars and drivers. Many of them returning from last year with new improvements and running in new run groups so it was going to be an interesting day and it definitely was. Those who graduated from the IMS run group into their respective new run groups showed that they could compete thanks to their time in the IMS class. Some people also showed off their winter down time projects from neon green rims to new suspension setups and wheels and tires.
I was out there all day shooting film and video and ended up with 129 videos and a little bit more pictures.

So the beginning of the week was pretty no nonsense it wasn't until about Friday that everything got all sorts of a busy. First up was the 38th annual Boise ID Roadster Show. I dragged one of my friends along with so that he could take pictures of the Bikini Show while I filmed it. That was pretty interesting but had a smaller number of contestants than last year. I'll post more about that tomorrow. The Roadster show it self was smaller than last year as well and I don't think it was nearly as good but there was the Porsche 911 GT3 so I has happy about that. I'm still working on those pictures.
Saturday was supposed to be a yard work day but holy hell it snowed a pretty good amount on Saturday morning and stuck around until about midday. After that some friends came over and we all played a board game while a former roommate's girlfriend and mom came over to move out the rest of his stuff. After the game I got ready and headed out to the Saturday night MoNAC anime club meetup which was alright and it's good that we are sticking to our schedule which is nice.
Sunday was a blast minus the daylight savings time which sucks when you have to get up an hour earlier than you'd normally do. All for some home brewed motorsports in the form of Autocross. Even though it was cold it was nice and sunny and for the first event there was a huge turn out with some 80 odd cars and I did a lot of filming and photographing and I'll get to blogging about that probably on Wednesday. Mostly because it'll take me that long to get everything uploaded.
When we got home it was about 7pm and after watching The Simpsons I simply passed out and didn't wake up until this morning after a good 13hrs of glorious sleep. Which will suck when it comes to work tonight as I wont be tired again for some time. Anyways after posting this it'll be photo editing time so I'll have to leave you with something interesting to watch...
