Queen's Blade rips off Ikkitousen...say what. Well I don't think they really ripped off Ikkitousen so much as just went with the best way to make DVD specials special. Included on the DVDs of the first season of Queen's Blade are 6 short OVA Specials that show case the girls in a High School setting for the most part.
And there is a lot of fighting, nudity and school girl clothing getting torn asunder and like the Ikkitousen specials there is little plot to get in the way of jiggling breasts.
So yeah as far as I'm concerned the specials are just fun mindless eyecandy to watch, not really Hentai but very much fanservice madness. Most of the girls from the series find themselves being students of an academy and fill typical school roles as needed. The Queen even appears and is the School President in the final episode. The plot is really thin and I'd consider it more a theme to play with with no real story going on instead. Which is fine when you have something like this where the audience probably at that point doesn't care for plot they just want the jiggling goodies.
A lot of fun and I'll be looking forward to the next set of Specials from the second season DVDs. I couldn't find anything related to the Specials and really I don't think I could with the amount of nudity there is in each episode so here's something at least QB related.
