What a pretty crappy week. So after buying about $70 in parts for the car I happen to find out that the actual broken part (see picture) of the car is a small metal piece that is broken. I could take the extra parts back but since I really need to have them replaced anyway sooner or later I might as well just keep them and suck it up. The actual part that I needed was $30 from the dealership but since we went out to the junk yard and were thankfully able to find another Lumina with the Steering wheel already off (looked at about 5 others and I forgot to even think about brining the steering wheel puller) and I was able to pull a pretty decent looking part out of another car along with a few other little parts that I needed. Total cost $6, HA! that's a pretty good savings. So still working on the stupid car and HUGE thanks to the roommate for letting me borrow his other car to get to work and back. I should, cross your fingers, get the thing back together tomorrow morning and hopefully started and moving again.
That's probably the majority of what I've been doing this week but did take a break on Saturday and went to see the best movie of the summer THE DARK KNIGHT. It was fanfreakingtastic but damn long. Not a bad look and your watch and wonder when it's going to be over long but just long. Also we finally plugged the XBOX 360 into the internet because we wanted to download the new maps to COD4 but there wasn't any new codes to get the maps for free so we passed on that. I did download some free stuff for Forza 2 though.
So yeah a pretty freaking painfully meh type of week so I'll see until next week...
