Holy Hell what a long week. I'm only now getting around to doing any posting because I needed a day to just relax even though I had the entire week off from work it was a busy and crazy hot week.
Tuesday was the hardest day though as it was the first time that I saw my mom and how bad off she was effect by the brain cancer. At first she didn't even reconize me and looked so scared to see me, it honestly hurt a bit more than I thought it would. She just looked so sick too and at while at times she was very lucied and all there but other times she didn't even know what day or time it was even after asking about it five minutes before hand. The house was bad though. You hear those stories of people letting their homes go and trash and things piling up but until you have to clean one of those houses you just don't understand just how bad it is. I thought I would be able to stay the hole day and help out but it was just so bad and I was feeling sick myself and had to leave after about 3 in the afternoon. I felt so bad for leaving my sister and her husband to finish cleaning the house but I had to get out of there.
While I was gone to Reno they re-examined my mom and admitted her to the hospital for more indepth examines and some internal probing. They discovered three tumers and some other signs of abnormal growth. My sister said that our mom was doing better and getting some of her memory back and was showing signs of improvements. I won't know more until I go and visit my mom in the hospital tomorrow morning.
Ah yes, Reno and the wedding. The fun part of the week. The wedding was actually held in Fallon, NV but people are like what? where? so it's just easier to say Reno anyways while the wedding was held inside a church it was still hot as all heck inside in that tux. Then we went outside into the hottest day yet @ 104 degrees to do more stuff in the tux. I lost two pounds while there. But anyways it was a good wedding I had a good time and it definitely took my mind off everything that was going on at home. I'm going to make a whole blog post about the wedding just as soon as I get some pictures. You all want to see how good I make a Tux look right...don't answer that actually. The flights were alright but dang was it cramped in there. I'm going to make another blog about the flights as well because I can and I have a funny story to tell.
I was so happy to get home and sleep in my own bed in my own house and just relax for a day and get back to my abnormal schedule that I keep. I have some thank you cards to write and some more blogs to post so with that I leave you until next week.
