POST 666!

Seriously this is post number 666 for this blog and what better way to celebrate then by doing a post on the Demonic Sisters Scanty and Kneesocks from PSG. PSG or Panty and Stocking With Garterbelt is one of the run away hits of the Fall season and at first didn't want to watch it because I only heard bad things about it.  Like that it was a poor Japanese rip off of the Powerpuff Girls.  However after see an episode I instantly got addicted to the series.  Then they added the girls most cunning and honestly alter egos Scanty and Kneesocks two demon ladies who are out to get Panty and Stocking.

Much like Panty and Stocking the demon girls have weapons based on their names.  Since we don't have room for another girl named Panty the demon girl who turns her panties (yes panties plural she wears to pairs of panties to duel weld handguns) into weapons is called Scanty and she is the demon girl with two horns.  Kneesocks who actually wears something more like thigh high stockings is the demon sister with the single horn and her stockings turn into scythes.

The two demon sisters are always trying to some way crush Panty and Stocking but they never really succeed and usually have their plans backfire on them.  When they were introduced the demon sisters also got their awesome transformation song and sequence.  It was awesome but you don't see it often in the flashbacks like you do Panty and Stocking.  I imagine we will see them through out the rest of the series.

Of course the demon sisters have gotten their fair share of fanservice out there for the fans to enjoy.  Although at the moment they haven't got the same amount of animated gif fandom as the PSG girls have but I imagine that will be fixed sooner or later.  To be honest of course I do have a favorite and that would be Kneesocks.  She's just killer hot.

You can check out Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt and get your fill of the demon sisters Scanty and Kneesocks at Crunchyroll for free (minus the latest episode that you have to wait an extra week to watch for free).  This is definitely one show that I would really like to see released on DVD in the states.  Also can't wait for the OST for PSG as it's awesome as well.
