Suppose it's a good time to be writing about the week that just ended.  After all it is Monday and I am finished with everything that I was working on so why not.  And I was going to look for some Race Queen content but Ameblo decided that it needed to take a maintenance break for the rest of the day.  And here I was hoping to have some new Race Queen content since the seventh round of the the Super GT was also ran this last weekend.

But before we get to the weekend we need to hear what happened during the week after all.  And no surprise here but it was the same old same old in regards to work.  Although I found out that they are planning on once again repainting the hotel which I had to laugh at, as all I see is just more complaining from guests for the next couple weeks yet again.  FYI if you don't remember they already repainted the hotel not more than 2 months ago.  Seriously this new management company is just a giant lame ass company.

That aside I didn't have anything else to do during the week.  The weekend came and went in a flash as I spent most of the time digging up stuff from the couple of events that took place in Japan over the weekend.  First up was the 7th round of the Super GT race series.  I haven't had time to watch any of it by I did find out that the Subura claimed another win in GT300 and the points challenge for the title leaves my favorite team GoodSmile Racing 3 points behind Team Jim Gainer again going into the last pointed race in two weeks.  On the GT500 side well I don't really care at the moment.

Actually after taking a look it looks like the new Team MOLA is way out in the points lead in GT500 with an additional 14pts over 2nd place Team Nismo.  That is really impressive for a GT500 rookie team.

The second big thing that went on in Japan was the mega epic Hellaflush X Japan car show that enveloped Fuji Speedway with a massive amount of Japanese tuned cars and at the center of it all were 6 RAUH-Welt Begriff cars which is why I was interested in the show in the first place.  I wrote up an equally epic blog post over on the car blog that you'll need to check out.  Hey they even had Itasha cars show up as well.  You can check that out here -- Hellaflush X Japan

While I was waiting for more Hellaflush content to pop up on the internet I took some time to go outside and do some yard work on the front yard.  Mowed the grass, trimmed up the stupid vine that goes crazy and picked up all the crap from under the tree out front.  I actually filled the garbage can with all the stuff that I picked up.

Now I'm done with the weekend and just updating some other stuff and calling the week done but of course I also took some time this week to look at some cool videos on the internet to share.

Nakai-san finished the first UK RWB car this week as well

Looks like another interesting anime coming out later -- Accel World

Internet Memes+Thundercats=busting a gut.

And finally the most epic thing I saw this week.... Melanie Iglesias

The week has come and gone and it hasn't been such a bad week.  I got a three day weekend that was a great way to relax after several weeks of insanity at work.  I didn't do much on my little break but clean the house, sleep and chill out.  Work had an interesting week.  I finally got my car blog stickers and they didn't look half bad.  Checked out a bunch of Race Queen stuff but still haven't gotten around to blogging about any of the new teams or watching the races.

So the very interesting part about work this week is that the temp manager that we've had for the past month up and decided to call it quits and headed back home to Cali and left us without management for a couple days.  We then got another temp manager who didn't have any idea what the hell was going on and didn't do anything but sit in the office and have the front desk manager do a bunch of stuff.  They then interviewed one yes one person for the permanent manager position and hired him.  So yeah it'll be interesting when I got back to the work tonight and see how everything is going.

After that interesting week at work getting the whole weekend off was great.  Over the weekend I just relaxed, slept and cleaned the house for the roommate's little (well not so little) Magic the Gathering event on Saturday.  I missed that and when I woke up I found four flies and couldn't figure out where the hell they came from.  Killed three of them and went back to my room.  The only problem is that when I came back out in the morning there were four more flies again, killed them again and I thought I found out where the flies were coming from as the only thing that had changed over the day was that the outdoor chairs came inside.  Took them back outside but damn there are still more flies.  Hopefully I'll kill them all and the fly issue will be taken care of soon.

Earlier this week I finally got the stickers that I ordered to send off to Japan and they looked pretty good and stuck one on the back of the Jetta and spent a good hour at the post office getting them sent off to Japan.  I just hope they get to Japan in time for the next Idler's Games event.  I also got the blog post about the Porsche Hillcross event posted up on the car blog as well.

This week I did find a few more videos that need to be shared.

It's been a long week and finishing up autocross stuff has found me doing the Weekly Review on Tuesday yet again.  I'll have to get the blog up about on the new car blog soon as well.  The rest of the week was pretty normal though.  Nothing to exciting to mention on my side. Checking out some new Race Queens from after this last round.  Not a lot of outfit changes but some new teams showed up.

So yeah work is still moving along.  Still have water issues, no food issues and of course upper management running around not knowing what to do.  They did just find out about the family who have living there since November of last year and haven't paid but a few hundred dollars on their $20k+ bill.  Don't know how that's going to be resolved but personally I'm happy to have them gone.

This week my grandma decided that she was going to move into an assisted living facility where she knows some people and plays bridge.  So this was more than likely my last week to drive her around and take her grocery shopping even though I was getting used to it at had her little routine pretty much worked out.

Of course my sister offered to buy grandma's car and while I don't entirely mind (not like I have the money to buy it) I really don't want to see my sister trash the shit out of a pretty damn nice car with only 36k miles on it.  Still it's going to be an interesting thing seeing where things end up going or being sold to.  I'll have to call and see if my dad and uncle need any help with anything.

So yeah the weekend rolled around and I did the autocross thing on Sunday in some damn hot weather.  I'm just happy that I had the shade to use and there was an occasional cool breeze to help.  That and lots of water even if a lot of it ended up on my head.  I've finished editing the pictures and uploading the videos but haven't written the blog.  I'll do that after I get done with this one.   From that hot Sunday it looks like it might be cooling down finally.

In any case I did see some cool videos this week (and impressive anime Mardock Scramble whoohoo) and here are the videos worth mentioning.

Race Queens are always worthwhile

Drag Racing RWB's finally on Youtube

This looks like an interesting wire-fu movie

And Mardock Scramble...watched it, it was awesome...damn cliffhanger

It's already time for another weekly review and no surprise here it's been a pretty standard and boring week here in the big city of Boise.  Hit up a friend's birthday party did the work thing and stayed the hell out of the sun and heat.  Watched some videos, found some race queens and yeah nothing all that exciting.  Next week however it's going to be awesome.  More on that later.

Oh actually there was some not so fun stuff this week as well.  How could I forget about that.  Filled up the gas tank this week and when I got home I smelled gas.  Checked under the car and sure as shit there was a nice puddle of gas dripping down from the fuel filter.  Backed the car down the drive way and saw a nice line of gas following the car so decided that it would be better to just walk to the nearby car parts store.  It turned out that the short fuel line hose that connects to the filter and the main gas line had ripped over time.  Got that fixed and I gotta tell you that short little trip in the car is a crazy long hot walk on foot.

So I guess there was that during the week.  Work was work so that was that.  Now Saturday rolled around and I was planning on going to the Old School Japanese car show that I had heard about way back when but thanks to getting a bit sick at work the night before I went to bed after getting home and slept until it was time to head over to my friend's house for his birthday party. That was OK had some ice cream cake, regular cake and watched some good anime for a little bit before heading home again.

And that has been pretty much it. Been checking some stuff out on YouTube and around the interwebs and I'm close to hitting 3000 pictures on the RWBooru page.  Oh and no shocker here but Amy Winehouse kicked the bucket this week as well.  There's an unsurprising footnote in history.

So we are the start of a new week which means it's time to take a look back at last week and see if there is anything memrobile about it.  In this case not really.  Work was OK weekend wasn't busy F1 party was small. there just wasn't much going on this week.  Did make some Margaritas though if that counts for anything.  Finally posted my blog entry for the last Super GT round because frankly the next one is this next weekend so I kinda had to.  Still haven't started my 2011 RQ Team blog posts yet and I should really get on that but until then enjoy the lovely ladies from Korea this week.

The remodeling at work has been progressing along at a good pace and most of the people going to the hotel are OK with what is going on. And hopefully the work will be done soon.  I asked about taking the pictures again but they already have someone else that they are using and that is OK with me since it was suck a pain in the ass to do those pictures the first time around.  But it would be nice to have a couple extra hundred bucks to play with.

Didn't do anything this weekend besides clean the house move files from the old computer to the new one and go through and do some cleaning up of those files as well.  We also had the F1 party at our house again and that ended up kind of being a bit lack luster thanks to not a lot of people showing up and a two hour rain delay that ended up cutting off the race before the end of the rain delay so we didn't even get to finish it.

With that the week was already over and I managed to get some anime watching in as well.  This morning I did wake up to a lot of RAUH-Welt action happening on Facebook as a large group of them were out at Tsukuba Circuit this weekend for the first Idlers Game Race.  So I'm frothing at the mouth for all the new and cool stuff that will be coming out this week.

I don't even think I added that many new cool videos this week.  Man this was a really boring week until the end with the RAUH-Welt stuff.

Not nearly as late this time around with the Weekly Review even though I've had a pretty busy weekend.  The roommate is off in Hailey looking after his parents house and he took Mr. Wiggleslot with him so I have the house to myself for a while.  That means CLEAN but I started a little project earlier in the week which has taken all weekend to finish.  And I've been busy looking for the latest and greatest in Race Queens and have found some good stuff this week.

So I've had two computers that I got from work that were just going to be thrown out so I picked them up and brought them home.  Roommate laughed and said those are just going to sit around for a while now aren't they.  Well I proved him wrong as I dismantled the older one for spare parts (for sale by the way) and I checked the other computers power supply which I believed to be the reason it wasn't working and sure enough that's the only problem the computer had.  So a new power supply, a reformat and clean install of Windows XP later I have a new computer.

That means that finally MoNAC has it's own computer as I'm giving the group my old one that way no one has to bring their own laptop and the group now doesn't have to rely on a couple people to bring equipement to the meetups (when ever we start those up again).  And with the clean install of windows I can finally blog realiably from my desktop computer and I don't have to rely on the laptop to do posts.  So maybe I'll get around to doing more blogs again. It just took me all weekend to get the new computer to work right though.

But that wasn't the only thing I did the week or weekend.  Well actually during the week it was mostly just work and getting things ready to tear into on the computer.  The guys from MoNAC picked up the tots for the Anime Oasis meetup that I didn't go to because I was busy with the computers and a bit drunk as I was nursing some Stella Artois while I worked and read the newest Article on RAUH-Welt Begriff which you can check out on the car blog.

Also since the roommate took the RX8 I got to use the garage to check out the underside of my car, the brakes and suspension on the car and I was surprised what I saw.  I have a very slight leak from the oil and power steering but nothing like the old Lumina.  It's the power steering as well that I believe is making the noise when I have the tires turned to lock but I did notice a crack in the passenger side CV boot so it also might be that as well.  Thankfully I still have some pad left on the brake pads though so don't need to replace those just yet.  I'll really need to replace the tires first and get an alignment as I have some neg camber going on in the back good enough to round off one of the tires.

Not to bad though I thought there was going to be more.  I also found out that if the fuel pump ever goes out it'll be much easier to fix as it's outside of the gas tank but the fuel filter looks like a serious pain in the ass.  So now I'm just chilling and writing my weekly review and completing the setup of the new computer.  Found some good videos this week as well.

It's Gumball 3000 time again

Since I did last week's weekly review in the middle of the week there really isn't anything to new to speak of for the rest of the week.  Well OK I had the weekend to do a lot of stuff like another F1 party work on my car work on the roommate's car and this year's first BBQ.  Oh yeah some new Super GT news and some new Race Queen outfits.   But lets get on with the second half of last week.  The important part.

So yeah it was my birthday this week and I got about $100 for my birthday and thanks to the lousy economy that money went to a lot of stuff like gas, food and some car parts.  And nothing really fun.  Oh well.  So of course I had to go see my grandma and thank her for the card and money and then visit the parents for the same thing.  Found out that my Step mom broke her shoulder at work helping an old lady.  Had to remove a bone spur as well. Ouch!  But thankfully everyone else has been doing good.  Dad got to visit a really hard to get into automotive museum that I have never heard of before.  Lucky guy.

I did buy some parts for the Jetta and I replaced the - battery wire and + battery terminal so now the car actually starts up much better than it has before.  I still get the battery light until I rev the engine.  Still need to pick up a manual for the car.  Took some new pictures that you can find here -- Project Jetta.

While I was able to do some work on my car my poor roommate is still plagued by some asshole coolant gremlin and we just can't get the car to stop leaking coolant.  Thought we had it fixed not once but twice only to find yet again a small leak.  So that's going to a professional to figure out.

Of course that left us with the F1 party and the first BBQ of the year.  Cleaned up a little bit to get ready friends came over and cooked up some hamburgers and it was good.  The race was really good and not a run away race like it seems to have become lately.  I didn't get that many points so still haven't been able to upgrade.  One more race and I'll be able to pick up a major team chassis I'm less than a $1mm away from picking up MacLaren or Ferrari.

And now I'm getting a bit tired writing this before I head off to bed for a bit but before that how about some videos from this week.

Some new RWB goodness showed up.  Check out those freaking narrow roads there in Chiba prefecture.

One of my favorite Korean Race Queens at their biggest car show.

Type this week's Weekly Review from work thanks to the Laptop power supply taking a dump for the second time.  Ordered another one because it would take forever to send the other one in for the warrenty.  Still might just to have an extra one just in case.  So anyways yeah it was an OK week up until the weekend and yeah I'll get to that in a minute.  Lots more Super GT news has come out but nothing on the new Race Queens so you'll just have to enjoy last year's.

So yeah a lot actually kinda happened this week.  Work kinda sucked thanks to some jackass underage douchebags who thought it was cool to come down drink and party while they watched Girls state bball and they just made the couple nights they were here horrid.  Decided to call the police the first night but the assholes saw the cops and ran.  They quited down after that but they were still a pain to deal with.   We did can and tell the kids mother that we caught them drinking and acting like assholes though.  If you're going to be a douchebag and party like that don't have your parents pay for your room.

During the week I found out that RAUH-Welt went social and posted about that and I have some cool news.  I'm now friends on Facebook with RWB's international director, how cool is that.  Anyways I also decided I wasn't going to hit another WHY DIDN"T I THINK OF THAT and decided to get my butt in gear and launch a simple booru site dedicated to RWB pictures.  It's called RWBooru and you should check it out.  So I did that and I posted up all the pictures that I had on the current HD as I lost a lot earlier on but now I have 550+ pictures up and will be adding more.  I think I need to add some more tags though for easier navigating.

Saturday kinda sucked in a different way as I set my alarm clock for 3pm to get ready for MONAC and guess what I did.  Yup totally slept through it and got woken up about 30 minutes after MONAC should have started.  So I rushed down there as fast as I could lawfully and got things going by 7pm.  That's when I found out my powersupply was toast.  And it had worked that night.  So the battery lasted about 40 minutes and it was done.  Thankfully another guy at MONAC had a powersupply that would work at home and so he went home and grabbed it and we were able to finish the Macross Frontier movie.

Sunday was a make up day that I was able to catch up on some other stuff that I needed to do and on Monday I went to my grandmother's house to pick up some metal storage bins that my dad left me and on the way back I stopped off at a new Asian market and checked it out.  And with that done it was pretty much my week.

Didn't really find much this week video wise but you can enjoy these videos.

Yes I know I missed last week's Weekly Review and I had a good reason.  Well there was the Super Bowl and then there was this and that and by the time I got around to thinking about doing the post it was already Thursday.  Kinda pointless to do it then.  So yeah.  A lot of the two weeks have been a lot of internet searching for things like the latest news on Super GT and Race Queens and something I've become hopelessly addicted to RAUH-Welt Begriff cars.

I spent a lot of time last week and this week scouring the internet for as much RAUH-Welt Begriff (RWB) information that I could find and I ended up creating a pretty good list of RWB websites that you can check out on my other blog here -- RWB Owners Group.

I actually had to re-organize my bookmarks because I had so many links to Japanese blogs that I had to split it up between RWB stuff regular Japanese Porsche stuff and other cool Japanese car blogs as well.  So yeah that took up a lot of time but I found a lot of cool stuff.   But that wasn't the only thing I did during the last two weeks.  Not much happened at work it's just been chugging along.  I am rather pissed that my State Tax Refund has been deposited even though it's been three weeks already and that's there time frame.  Means I've missed out on a few cool VWs that I wanted to check out.  But there will be more.

Last Sunday was of course the Super Bowl and I was rooting for the Packers so I was happy to see them win.  But of course the commercials were way better than the game.  Loved the VW adds but there some really good ones and some really lame ones.  The talking E*Trade baby needs to go as well as the Go Daddy commercials.  They are getting tiresome.

Winter seems like it's getting close to it's end.  I went outside last night at about 3 in the morning and thought I'd need my coat but holy smokes it was still about 40-50 degrees outside.  And today it hasn't been all that bad either.  I just hope it's going to help with the heating bill.  Or other roommate decided to move out rather suddenly (granted he was going to move out at the end of the month) so the utilities bill is going back up.  And  the last part of February when I pay that bill is always a mess because of the short month.

This week I also did a little blog updating.  At the bottom you'll notice that I've added the linkwithin app that gives you some other blog posts to check out.  I don't know I never thought to add them before but I have them now so maybe they'll help my other blog out since I'm not getting that many hits since I don't have it linked to something cool (DannyChoo and FM) like I do this blog.

And with that I don't have anything else to discuss since this week and last week weren't all that busy and most of the time I was searching for RWB stuff.  So guess I should toss up some cool videos I found this week as a book end.  Oh one other thing I did find all 17 volumes of My Favorite Carrera, untranslated of course but still nice to look at.

Most notable is a new HOTD Special-- Beach Episode!!!!

Found this channel while look for more RWB stuff check out what they pass at 1:15  Only in Japan.

There is some cool new Race Queen stuff coming out already
