Thankfully the Soccer tournament is over and all the kids are gone from the hotel but the heat is killing me as the Lobby A/C fan decided to take a dump this week as well. So it's been hot the last few days at work which makes it suck at work just as much as having the kids there. Oh also there seems to be a skunk that likes to lurk about the hotel and that makes it suck also since the windows are open to let the cool air in but with the skunk spraying it smells horrid.
Grandma and her broken arm is doing alright but taking her grocery shopping drives me nuts as she's set in her ways of doing things and sometimes is very single-mindedness when getting something that she doesn't realize what's happening around her so I have to keep her from crashing into other people or getting in their way. She still hasn't decided on if she'll be moving into an assisted living place just yet or not. I wish she would just to ease my mind about her safety. Then she wouldn't have to drive anymore either and that really worries me as every time I see her car there seems to be another little booboo on it.
Since I had Wednesday and Thursday off this last week I didn't do anything during the weekend and nothing at home either. I did weed-whack the crap out of the back yard this morning and will need to toss down the weedkiller later in the week to kill off all those weeds in that area. Other than that that was my week. Pretty damn lame but that's life sometimes. At least this time I know for sure I'm getting paid for the holiday.
I did find some cool videos and with the Goodwood Festival of Speed going on there is a bunch of cool car stuff coming out. Also the new season of Anime is starting up now too so watching some new stuff.
