Last week at work was oh my gosh crazy it was the All West Divisional Soccer Tournament and every hotel was booked up with Soccer players from all over the Western part of the United States. We had our fair share of teams and for the most part they were OK people were definitely not happy about everyone being sold out but I absolutely had zero sympathy for them. Not everything went smoothly though. One team kicked a soccer ball through one of our fire rated windows in the pool. That was a $1400 lesson learned for that team. But that wasn't nearly as bad as another team having a group of them team getting busted by the cops trying to buy dope. Yeah not a bright idea.
This week was also a Celebrate Service week were we could wear some extra stuff none of which I participated in because I wasn't going to ruin any of my cloths to do it nor did I have anything else from the 80's or sports team apparel. The good thing about that though was the potluck on Friday which wasn't all that bad and nice way to catch up with some old friends from the other hotel.
On the flip side I was also helping my grandma this week. Took her grocery shopping which I have to admit drives me nuts as my grandma seems to have issues with spacial awareness and the things around her. I had to keep stopping her from running into people and other stuff while she was looking for her stuff. But I'm just glad I can help her. Took her to the Dr again on Monday and things are progressing smoothly just hopes it keeps up that way.
The only real day off I had was Sunday (after the work party on Friday I passed out and slept for 12+ hrs) and I spent that day in Nampa again at another car show this time one I enjoyed a bit more since it was a Volkswagen car show. With that my week came to an end and I'm looking forward to a more relaxed week at work even though it's going to be a long one as I have Wednesday and Thursday off and then I work straight through until the next Friday. So until next week enjoy some of these videos I found this week.
