Enough about lovely Race Queens we see more of them a little bit later. This week was another busy one at work thanks to boys state basketball so didn't get a whole lot of anime watching in. That pretty much killed my week. It wasn't until the weekend that I was able to get some of my own work done.
Saturday was of course MONAC but I was also working on getting some new updates to the blog done. If you noticed I finally got around to adding blogger tabs at the top of the blog. I did this for both blogs actually and the writing the bio pages took the longest because honestly I really don't like writing those. I still have to wait and go back and read them over again to do some proofreading and final editing but I have them all up there for you guys to check out. I need to add a links page to the car blog as well but I don't think I'll add the donate page to this one.
That took up a lot of time on the weekend working on that on Monday my day was busy with working meeting in the afternoon and me running around before that. I picked up tickets in the morning for the Roadster show on this coming weekend. I don't really care for muscle cars but its a great way to break the winter blahs oh and filming the Miss Roadster show is fun too.
After picking up the tickets I headed over to one of the few VW specific junk yards and asked around about a Jetta between 91-93 and low and behold he had three of them to look at. Found a white 91 that looked the best out of the three but it needs a little work and will be about $200 more than what I was looking at spending but I'm trying to figure out if I can make it work. The roommate wants to check out the auto auction first though so we'll do that on Saturday (if it's open) and see if they have anything there. Might also check out the other VW specific junk yard as well.
And that was the week up until today. I did find some interesting videos this week though.
