If you remember from the first season review SnO: Forte is a continuation of the story of Tomoki his friends and his two live in angeloids a pair of androids with super human powers and the ability to do some really fun and interesting things for Tomoki. Typically that means a lot of perverted things for which he always ends up getting caught by his childhood friend and neighbor Sohara who beats him up for acting perverted.
The second season adds another two angeloids first it's a beta model Astraea who's specialty is CQB but who is about as smart as box of rocks. Her mission is simple...kill Tomoki but of course since she isn't that smart she fails and falls into the same trap as the other two angeloids and becomes instead friends with the group after a while. The second angeloid is a MKII model and is younger and dressed like nun with metal butterfly wings and her name is rather befitting her nature... her name is Chaos. Basically her mission is the same as that of the Beta model...kill Tomoki. It takes the other angeloids and the gang everything they have in order to defeat the MKII model and of course they do but only temporarily. They have to defeat her a second time and once they manage that one they reprogram her.
Thankfully through-out the season we are shown a bit more about the new society and finally learn more about the woman in Tomoki's dream. So a lot of the questions from the first season are taken care of but we never really get any closure on the douchebag original master and of course the love thing is never resolved either. It even makes poor Ikaros have a literal almost meltdown of her core. So there was a bit more emotion in this one not only with Ikaros but the others as well and some how Tomoki pulls some really good moments out of his ass.
However, don't think for a second that there was an epic ton of naughty ecchi fanservice every episode and round about naughty pervert things that Tomoki did during the 2nd season. Thankfully there as plenty of good laugh out load comedy moments as well. It helped to balance out the show. Again it was a good show to just sit down and just enjoy it for what it was and not think that hard about things. You get to see boobies and you get a good laugh what more could you ask for. Wait you want more? Well we're in luck as it so happens they are now working on a movie of Sora no Otoshimono as well. With the second season we got luck at it was picked up by Crunchyroll which is still I streaming episodes of the second season.

The entire crew is back for another fanservice laden episode that takes them from the girls locker room to a public pool so that Ikaros can help her master Tomoki peep in at the ladies like any horny teenage boy would want to. Of course Sohara is always there to thump him on the head for his perverted ways.
While Tomoki and Sohara are at it again in the never ending pervert wars Nymph is having some trouble adjusting to her new life as a master-less angeloid. This is causing her some issues as she tries and fails to get Tomoki to give her orders. Thankfully after a couple little chit chat's Nymph realizes that Tomoki not giving her orders doesn't mean he doesn't like her but that he's trying to let her be her self and let her do any thing that she wants to do.
Of course we can't forget the leader of the New World club Sugata and his never ending quest to fly. Well in the OVA he's able to get his glider up in the air for a bit so that's all well and done for now. And with that accomplishment done the OVA is over....or is it. At the end we get a little sneak peak at the third Angeloid Astraea for the upcoming season. The OVA was fun and it was much like any other part of Sora no Otoshimono for it's mix of comedy and fanservice so there wasn't anything new there. The Frog censors in the pool was a bit odd but beats out the stupid magic steam or light beams. FUNimation has licensed it and will be releasing it (but no telling how long it will take to be released) as Heaven's Lost Property. Finally the second season has been picked up by Crunchyroll for streaming and since the series is censored anyways watching it on Crunchyroll (as long as it's not limited to paying members only or more censored than it normally is) should be a good and legal way to check it out.
Again here's the trailer for the second season since there isn't anything for the OVA. I'm looking forward to the next season.

Who wouldn't want to have a cute Angeloid or two for a friend? Finished this last seasons Sora no Otoshimono last week and I have to say it was a fun little series to watch. A bit much on the fanservice part and it's only getting better on the DVD apparently. Oh and let us not forget the flying pantsu incident that even found it's way to an appearance on Attack of the Show of all places.
I don't I can really say that this is a harem show really but it's kinda like that and a slice of life school comedy show. It's got a lot of stuff going on that just makes it all work out. It's also has a healthy dose of fanservice, sci-fi and action.
The story revolves around Tomoki who is living alone in a house next to his childhood friend Sohara and only wishes for a peaceful and quit life. He's a bit of a pervert and when ever his pervert nature comes out Sohara is there to karate chop him back to reality. It makes for some really funny bits through out the series really. One night Tomoki goes out at night to meet up with friends to watch something in the night sky. Only nobody else shows up and poor Tomoki ends up getting an Angeloid pet-class named Ikaros dropped on him.
Ikaros calls Tomoki her master and stays with him granting him any wish he desires, hilarity ensues and in comes Sohara to karate chop him back to reality. Tomoki trys to teach Ikaros to be more human and with the help of his friends and many interesting adventures that include a city wide soft-air gun fight a mystery trip to a deserted island and hole bunch of other stuff. By this time another Angeloid has appeared and is also staying with Ikaros and Tomoki. As it turns out Nymph is there to take Ikaros back to heaven and we learn a bit more about Ikaros' past and learn that she's an alpha weapon angeloid that is very capable of destroying all of humanity and her creators want her back. Nymph unlocks some of her abilities and failing her fist mission Nymph heads back alone and is punished for her failure and she starts to wonder if Ikaros has it right and if Tomoki is a good master.
The story takes a bit of turn on that as Ikaros' real masters want her back but she doesn't want to go back but she doesn't want to hurt Tomoki even more so she meets up with Nymph to head back. Instead she's attacked by another set of Angeloids who were sent to just collect her weapon systems. Tomoki and gang arrive on scene and tells Ikaros the he knows she's a weapon and that it's alright to use them to protect herself and her friends. While the gang is freeing Nymph from her chains Ikaros busts out the big guns and trashes the other two Angeloids hardcore.
I liked it and really hope it gets licensed in the states as it seems like a good choice. Sure it has a lot of fanservice but it's just so funny that it makes up for it. If you haven't seen it wait for the DVD rips at this point. There is also a 14th episode that will be coming out on DVD which was a "too dangerous" for TV episode. So look for that as well.
