Patients clutched pictures of her “luxury” nose to show their plastic surgeons exactly what they want their new nose to look like. The high thin bridge, the slightly turned up and pointed end are the qualities that are most sought after by those undergoing the knife. However, this type of nose, which is more western, is difficult to create on Asian faces since our faces are generally more flatter. The consequence of forcing your surgeon to add more millimeters to silicon rod produces an unnatural nose that is utterly fake looking (at least by other women who can usually tell the difference between a fake nose and a real one).

Yes, it’s real. If you aren’t already aware, ppl in Korea are obsessed about noses, including me. My little button nose is no match for new singer Min Hyo-rin’s (22) high acquiline one. Her nose has been labelled by the press as “luxury” (trans: 명품코), which means that she basically has a western nose. And this is the standard for which all women eyeing nose surgery want.
