So what happened this week? Well I learned a little bit more about the work issue and found out that the owner owes $5.3mm on the hotel and that it's going to go on auction for $3.7mm and that's a solid ouch. Also found out that a lot of other people are also worried about what will happen besides just us employees.
Actually I was really surprised this week with just how easy it was at work. Lots of time to watch some new anime and get the stuff done that I needed to do besides doing the damn laundry. That was a big wahoo for me anyways. Which leads us up to the weekend.
Friday was a tear into the roommate's broken RX8 day so that we could get it ready to be taken apart to replace the motor and we got the bumper off and I helped take off some random intake piping and what not. Saturday we drained the oil and coolant and while we waited for the oil to drain (NEVER install a quick release drain plug they take for freaking ever to drain) we took off and helped one of our friends tune their 2003.5 Mazdaspeed Protege (Familia) and were going to install new injectors but they turned out to be too big and were not able to install the injectors after all but were able to tune the car for better results. Once we were back home and the oil was drained we took to removing the turbo which thankfully wasn't hurt in the process of the APEX seals going up in smoke.
However getting that turbo out was a huge pain in the ass that ended up with us needing to cut through one of the bolts. On the list of tools we need now is definitely a real hacksaw as the little key hole saw that we had to use to cut it out. Went through two blades to get it out. After the car part removal we had some other friends over for a BBQ and it went well lots of yummy noms but I had to leave a little early to do the Anime meetup thing since I had the tubs and was the only one who knew how to setup the system so I had to go.
Which leaves us with today and I'm sitting here writing my blogs and checking the updates of the third round of the Super GT. And of course looking for an awesome video for this week.
