Omamori Himari (おまもりひまり) is your basic boy doesn't have parents is raised by best friend who's a girl. Boy Doesn't know he has special powers or is someone important and several more girls show up to test his metal and they all just sort of stick around and hang out. Love soon blooms for one or more of the many pairings. Add important bad guys who will be the catalyst to bring out the boy's power in the neck of time to save everyone.
In this case the boy is Yuuto and he's a Demon Slayer who at the age of 16 becomes an important part in slaying Ayakashi with some latent super power called light ferry. He can't use it and has no idea about any of this until one day an Ayakashi named Himari shows up at his door telling him she is his bodyguard blah blah blah. Well he doesn't want to hurt any one so yeah all those cute girl Ayakashi who want to harm poor Yuuto come to instead like him and end up in the end doing battle against two of the legendary Ayakashi in a bid to destroy all humanity and the such.
Of course everything works out and you can get to enjoy some nice fanservice in the mindless little show that will probably never be licensed in the states since it's just so generic at the moment. Oh well.
