Mutant Girl Squad

It's been a while since I've posted about those zany yet fun to watch Asian B-movies and there have been a couple of new ones on the scene of late and I'll touch on one of the other ones Friday but today I'd like to blog about the upcoming Mutant Girl Squad. MGS is a three part story being helmed by three directors from various Japanese splatter fest movies of yesterday. Expect lots of cute girls, gallons of blood and strange special effects.

You have Yoshihiro Nishimura from Tokyo Gore Police, Noboru Iguchi from Machine Girl and Tak Sakaguchi who starred in Versus each will handle one third of the movie. Basically the movie is stars a couple gravure idols; Yumi Sugimoto and Suzuka Morita in a horror slasher movie that has a bunch of mutating girls banning together to take on the secret military organization that is out to kill them all.

Definitely adding this to my to watch list of Japanese Gore movies that I'll need to watch.
