Fight! Fight! Boobies! The first season was the journey to the Queen's Blade championship and the second season was about the Queen's Blade Championship. More Boobies, more fighting, more story...wait what? More story? Yes in a pretty good surprise the second season actually had a good story to tell and not just a smorgasbord of naked bouncing boobies. Go figure. Also a huge THANK YOU to anonymous for the DDLs to keep us all safe from lamo BayTSP.
I was rather pleasantly surprised by how good this second season was compared to the first, sure there was the nice eyecandy that was great as usual but having a good story actually made the season just that much better. Definitely worth it getting a license here in the states.
It's no surprise though that the winner of the Queen's Blade Championship was the Vagrant Warrior Reina who after defeating everyone else was able to gain their special moves in order to defeat the evil Queen Aldra who was possessed by a fallen angel who was using her to take over the world.
It did suck that my second favorite Ninja lady had to be killed off (by her best friend even) in order for things to progress and that Risty had to be turned into an evil minion (but she gets saved by Reina of course).
Now we just have to wait for the second season DVD specials, yum. Here's the trailer for the second season...
