OK so what do you get when you have an animated film that falls somewhere between Hentai and Fanservice? Well the easy answer is Rob Zombie's new animated film The Haunted World of El Superbeasto which easily has more animated boobies per minute than I think even Queen's Blade. Then there is the simulated and more than implied toon sex but just not as graphic as you would get in a Hentai movie. So I'd have to say this is basically like a really raunchy b-movie but it's a cartoon so you don't get the crappy b-movie graphics instead you get all awesomeness in a fun hilarious package.
OK, so I don't irk the crazies I'll refer to El Superbeasto as a cartoon only. I'm not entirely sure if it's supposed to be a horror type cartoon or not since it's set in Monsterland with all manner of old school bad guy monsters including Nazi Zombies yet it's so damn funny that the horror aspect is entirely lost to comedic hilarity. Than of course is the overload of sexual material. Like I mentioned earlier there is cartoon sex cartoon stripping and a crap load more cartoon stripping and sex. When monsters aren't being killed they are either stripping or having sex.
Of course there has to be a plot right...right? Well sort of... I mean this is mostly about sex and violence so the plot is fairly unimportant really. Basically it's El Superbeasto running around looking for his next fling and when he finds it in a lovely Dark Haired Stripper she's kidnapped by a huge Gorilla and taken to the Devil to be his next wife. So El Superbeasto enlists the help of his super sexy sister and her robot partner to help him rescue his next fling from the clutches of the Devil. Well the Stripper doesn't mind getting married to devil anyways and well lets just say El Superbeasto isn't much a superhero. After the wedding the devil becomes ultra powerful and does what he wanted to do in the first place and kidnaps his true love El Superbeasto's sister Suzi-X of course that pisses off his new wife and the Devil goes on a bit of a lets destroy the city power trip. Only to be defeated when he loses his superpowers after he steps on his nagging wife. Although it tosses in a great cat fight between the stripper wife and Suzi-X which includes probably the best song of all times that includes the phrase that goes something like this...It's OK to masturbate to cartoons because the Japanese do it all the time. I know that's not exactly the correct wording but it's basically that. I just thought that was really funny. After all is said and done the good guys win and all is well in the land of Monsterland.
I'm glad I rented this as it was a good laugh if you're thinking Rob Zombie and some evil awesome horror movie you'll be sadly disappointed but if you're looking for something funny a bit macabre and way more toonpornish than you'd think than this is right up your twisted mind alley. I'd give it three enthusiastic appendages up and suggest at least renting it for a good laugh. Hey get your mind out of the gutter I was talking about those three zombie limbs that were just laying around...
