Sunny got a once in a lifetime chance to join together with some of the biggest singers by joining SM Entertainment. Soon after, it was revealed that Sunny was actually SM Entertainment's founder's niece. Along with having an uncle as a big part of the entertainment industry, her father was also the representative for the girl band Sugar. The fact that Sunny is Lee's niece, and that she got into SM seemed a bit conspicuous. Because of this, Sunny has been training harder because she wants to gain recognition for her talent, not because her uncle and father are in high places.
