I am so thrilled to be finally posting news of my 4th Korean fav, Lee Dong Wook who was rather forgettable in his last movie, The Perfect Couple, so much so that even though I watched the movie just last month, I could not recall what the movie was about. Nevermind, I am glad his Japanese fans did not forget him!

Korean star, Lee Dong Wook´s popularity in China, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines and other places, cannot be compared with Bae Yong Jun and others in Bae´s category.
Recently, Lee Dong Wook officially founded his Japanese fan club and at the meet the fans, more than 14,000 fans attended. The day before yesterday, a pictorial album was received from relevant people from Japan which drew much attention. On 11th of this month, internally in S. Korea there will be held a Lee Dong Wook´s birthday party where 200 of his Japanese fans will attend. (NB: LDW´s birthday is Nov 6)
In Southeast Asia, Lee Dong Wook has become the centre of popular sentiment due to his collaboration with Lee Dae Hee in SBS´s My Girl last year for his role as the considerably charming rich heir. In particular, his role as Julien is well known among the overseas fans.
