Seitokai Yakuidomo starts off with Takatoshi starting his first day of school at a former all-girl school. The SC President Shino spots him and grills him about his attire and why he joined the former all-girl school. His reason...because it was close to his house. Shino figures that she will need a male perspective with all the incoming boys to the school she enlists Takatoshi as the SC's Vice President. Back at the SC room Takatoshi meets the other two members of the Student Counsel the genuis but tiny girl Suzu and the rich girl airhead Aria.
Add in additional characters along the way like Takatoshi's younger sister the newspaper club president and the Student Counsel's adviser for even more raunchy rowdiness. You see while Takatoshi and Suzu are pretty tame people it's Shino and Aria with the dirty minds and twisted since of humor and it's up to Takatoshi and Suzu to keep them in their place. From there it's pretty much a school life sort of thing with the typical school story line going with the school festival, Sport competition, Senior trip and various other assorted little day to day adventures that are filled thanks to Shino, Aria and occasionally when she shows up Takatoshi's younger sister putting the sexual innuendos to just about every situation.
The animation is funny, the story is funny and I have to say it was an enjoyable little bit of anime for the season. I was told by a girl at an anime meetup once that as a guy I just wouldn't understand anything about it but you'd have to a be a complete idiot and know nothing about the fairer sex to not get what is going on. I hope this gets picked up FUNimation or somebody for release in the US.
