Sengoku Basara Special

It's been a while since I've seen my all time favorite lovely lady Ninja but FINALLY someone has gone and subbed the DVD extra episode of Sengoku Basara that all to interesting Samurai fighting anime from last year. The Special was released in January on the last DVD of the series and it took this long for someone to finally sub it for the fans enjoyment.

That might be because the BD box set is set to be released in June along with a second season. I'm looking forward to more hot blond Ninja action and of course the just zany action of the entire rest of the cast but that's later now it's all about this special episode.

Sort of a middle episode where the big guy (Keiji) with the monkey who we only saw a little bit of went on an adventure to unite two warring factions based around the sea to fight together against the demon lord. One guy is an anchor welding sea guy with a very large ship and canon (Motochika) and the other guy is a land guy with a large circular blade like thing (Motonari). The land guy wants the big ship and the other guy wants to work together or something in any case he believes in Keiji's idea. A huge fight breaks out between the two and lots of people are hurt and or killed during the fight but Keiji is able to break up their fight so that he can reason with them in order to get them on the same side.

That's when my favorite ninja girl (Kasuga) shows up on that rocket propelled glider(remember that part?) to tell them that it's getting intense out there and that it's time to act. So the fight is postponed while the big ship takes off to lend it's hand in the fight against the demon lord.

All in all it's just another Sengoku Basara episode. Lots of fighting and dialogue and some campy bits tossed in. A separate story that happens during the main story so it's good if you've seen the rest and know what's happening. I still like it enough to think that it would make for a great rental if it ever made it state side but I haven't heard of anyone picking it up yet so it's very doubtful that it will.

You can check out the trailer for the extra episode here.

Well that was definitely an interesting week. Some good stuff some bad stuff some OK stuff and some stuff that just really sucked. More on that later. I did find a great webpage with a ton of new Race Queen stuff to share during the year. But really for a week it was pretty much a wash. So enjoy the pretty Race Queen while you read the review of my week.

The week was a normal one of working, sleeping and normal running around up until the weekend. Saturday did some more yard work including finally mowing the lawn for the first time this year. At this point I was looking forward to Sunday and the the IMS Spring Drive but it was a short lived experience which you can read more about on the other blog. I came away with some pictures car related and otherwise (I was bored so shot some nature stuff as well). When we finally got home from that we also discovered that the roommate's Subaru was broken as well so we worked on that a little bit and couldn't get it fixed last night and I discovered that I was just a bit more sunburned than I had thought.

I'm just glad the week is over the roommate is looking for rotary engine swaps for the RX8 and I'm just chilling out relaxing thinking of the next week.

I'll leave you this week with the following video:

Foxy Friday -- Sayaka Araki

This weeks Foxy Friday Feature is the lovely and very talented Sayaka Araki. She is a fashion model, business woman and DJ and while she may not be a Raven Haired beauty she more than makes up for that by just being drop dead gorgeous. And of course that's more than enough to make her a welcome addition to the Foxy Fridays.

Sayaka Araki (荒木さやか) is a fashion model for Ageha magazine as well as a DJ by the name of DJ A☆Lucky (aka Riona Aihara). When she isn't doing that she is also doing the business woman thing with her own company called GSR that hawks all sorts of goodies from beauty products, cosmetics, lingerie and dietary supplements.

Another little odd thing that she has worked on voicing a character that looks a lot like her in the game Yakuza 3 where she plays a hostess in a bar. I watched the video of her part in the game and it makes no sense to me but hey what ever for you 2D lovers out there you can enjoy her as well.

Now here is something interesting that I found while looking for info on her... She might be also known as Ryo Uehara who did nude scenes. I'm not expert in IDing girls but the two definitely look a like. You can check out that little bit of contravercy at this link --> Scanlover

The link to a Sayaka Araki thread on Scanlover is here --> scanlover

There are two sets for her at Jappydolls that you can still download and you can find them here and here

Go figure I would forget to include her own official webpage --> A Lucky

Check out one of her photoshot videos below:

Here she is doing the DJ thing:

HELL F*CK YES! Is all I gotta say about that news. Looks like Aniplex will be releasing both movies along with the Parallel Works music videos in July. You know I'm going to be getting these suckers even though it's going to cost an AWESOME price of $100 for both movies. OUCH! But I don't care.

Actually since we now have a BD player at the house I may just wait for the BD version of the movies since the DVDs are ONLY going to be available subbed. It's not a deal breaker for me if it's dubbed or subbed but sometimes I really just like watching and listening and not having to read as well. Plus I think they did a fairly good job on the English dub of the series. But right now the BD

Getting the Parallel Works collection is also really cool but I'd love to see Yoko's music video as well for her Sound Track. Maybe they'll release that as well. One can hope anyway. As if no dub is bad enough the only way to get the movies is through Bandai Entertainment’s website so it may not be available on Netflix. Damn. It also means no is not another less expensive alternative either.

The first movie Gurren Lagann the Movie: Childhood’s End will be available July 1st in two versions. The less expensive single disk version for $30 and the mega cool limited edition two disk version with all the goodies for $50. The second movie Gurren Lagann the Movie: The Lights in the Sky Are Stars will be released on July 30. Again with a $30 single disk version and $50 two disk version with all the goodies.

The goodies in this case are separate 32 page booklets (Japanese program books), postcards, bonus features (don't know what they will be yet but probably textless credits and staff interviews) and the Parallel Works music videos which will be split equally between the two releases.

I just noticed that they have an early bird promotion to save you some money on the DVDs if you pre-order them by May 13 for the first movie and June 11 for the second movie. Order them here.

Yeah it's only just slightly late for a weekly review but that's the joy of autocross and being busy. So next weeks weekly review is going to be short. Lets see last week was interesting not because a lot of cool stuff happened just because some interesting things came to light. Again enjoy the weekly Race Queen lovelies and thanks to a little address in the corner I do think I found a wonderful place for even more RQ goodies.

That interesting thing is I will be like a lot of other people in worrying about my job coming to an end. In July the Hotel that I work at goes on the Auction block to be sold off to the highest bidder. Hopefully the hotel gets sold to a nice set of new owners and I can keep my job. As for the current owner well all I can say is Karma's a bitch.

So with that little freak out the rest of the week was alright. It was my birthday that week so got a little bit of extra money that went right into food and gas so nothing awesome purchased with birthday money...poo. Instead with the nice weather I did some gardening in the yard and went to the third autocross event which I wrote about here on my other blog for all things automotive. It was a lot of fun and I had a good time. I think there was something else that I wanted to blog about but for the life of me I can't remember what the heck it was.

hmmmmm... this week's review is kinda short as well oh well sorry there wasn't much posted in the last few days as a way to say sorry how about you enjoy this lovely video of hot Asian ladies...

Foxy Friday -- Sayaka Ando

Hello, it's time for another Foxy Friday feature and this weeks Foxy Asian is the super cute Sayaka Ando. Found her while wondering around YouTube this week. At the moment it looks like she's retired for the most part from gravure modeling and is focusing on acting. You can find a quick list of her appearances and photobooks on her Japanese Wiki page or you can follow her on her latest personal blog.

Sayaka Ando in her heyday as a gravure model put her teaching and secretary licenses to good use by posing as sexy school teachers and hot office ladies. She even has a diving license as well. It also looks like she was a former Race Queen for I think Toyo (that's who she was in a photoshot for Top Queen with). Here are her personal stats.

Sayaka Ando (安藤沙耶香)
Birthdate: May 24, 1981
Zodiac: Gemini
Birthplace: Miyagi Prefecture, Japan
Blood type: A
Height: 167 cm (5 ft 6 in)
Measurements: 84-55-84 cm (33-22-33 in)

Chu-bra!!

I don't think I've ever laughed so hard during a supposedly very ecchi fanservice show as I have while watching Chu-bra. What was supposed to be a really lame fanservice show about nothing but underwear was actually a really funny educational anime about underwear that yes had a good deal of fanservice. But it's the funny comedy that truely made this an enjoyable to watch series.

It's surprising that while this was supposed to be a mindless Otaku ecchi panty show it actually turned out to be a pretty good-natured fun show and in a way could be useful for the younger ladies if the information that is discussed during the show is correct. Think about it an easy way to teach kids serious stuff with anime....yeah it probably wouldn't fly.

I know I wasn't excepting much and with little to no coverage by the image boards you would have thought it was a really bad series. However, I think it deserves a better fate than that. It was streamed on Crunchyroll and is still there if you want to check it out but It'll be interesting to see what the DVDs have in store for additional goodies.  Oh and yes one last thing...Talking Nipples!

Here's a quick plot summary from Wiki:

The story revolves around Nayu Hayama, who embarrasses herself on the first day of middle school by accidentally showing her adult panties. As two other students, Yako Jingūji and Haruka Shiraishi, hear rumors of her engaging in "enjo kōsai", or compensated dating (which often is viewed as being close to or the same as prostitution), they investigate. They soon learn that Nayu is an 'underwear monitor' who tests new underwear products, and has great insight on what underwear people should wear. Nayu hopes to help everyone get through the vital stage of their life by opening an underwear club

I enjoyed it and I laughed a lot, the fanservice is definitely there but it's not done in a way to be a bad thing in fact more often than not it's either done for laughs or for educational reasons and not in my opinion gratuitous.

This was the only good trailer I could find for it:

Dance in the Vampire Bund

Attach of the Loli Nipples!!!! Oh noes. I'm going to hell or prison at least for looking at Loli Vampire nipples...ZOMG! Actually all joking and kidding aside in today's day an age with the stupidity running rampant in the court system that is all a good likely hood which is why FUNimation took the play it safe route when they decided to license the series and censored the loli nipples in question much to the outrage of Otakus everywhere.

But seriously Dance in the Vampire Bund is more than just Loli Nipples so if you're looking for that sort of thing you just might want to look somewhere else. Thanks to Vampires being all the rage today it was no surprise that FUNimation grabbed up Dance in the Vampire Bund right away and offered it up on their YouTube channel subbed for anyone to check out legally. WOOT!

Here's a quick plot summary from ANN

Mina Tepes, the Princess of the ancient covenant and ruler of all vampires, wants her race to stop hiding from the humans. Using her vast wealth, she has paid off Japan's entire national debt and by doing so, gained the right to create a district off Japan's coast that is to become the future haven to vampires worldwide. But when she finally attemps to make public the existence of vampires to the world some politicians, terrorists and rival factions are plotting to assassinate Mina before she has a chance to get Japan's and International recognition for the Vampire Bund. Now she must rely on her strength, cruelty and those closest to her, while trying to make a normal life.

I did like it because it offered up a lot of plot twists, action and just good ol' fun anime shenanigans and thankfully a good bit of non Loli fanservice as well. Can't wait to see what might be on the DVDs. Thanks to FUNimation offering it up on YouTube you don't have to steal this to enjoy it right now.

To Love-Ru OVA S2

Did I miss something or was there seriously a lot less fanservice in the later episodes? I don't know but it sure felt like there was not that that is a really bad thing it's just well after all the other episodes I was kind of expecting nipples and fanservice in the last couple episodes. In any case I finished off the second half of the OVA series last week and other than the lack of good fanservice it wasn't half bad.

The last four episodes are entirely random episodes that don't have anything to do with anything from the series so like me if you haven't seen the series (or in my case finished it) you wont be totally lost. The first (actually fourth) episode is an adventure episode where the cast gets caught up in a weird Dungeons and Dragons game and the only episode that has visible nipples. It also introduces Lala's twin sisters a pair of trouble makers one of which has a mad crush on Rita. It's a fun episode

The second episode is more about Lala's twin sisters as they try to show Lala Rita's true identity (as a perv) and some how end up infecting everyone else in the gang which is a funny good time as it's like all the characters flip flop their personalities during a Cherry Blossom viewing session.

The third and final episode is actually three mini episodes. The first is an episode where the class President accidentally loses her panties after a school scuffle with a Senior delinquent. So the president runs around looking for her lost panties and trying not to let people, especially Rita, know that she's that type of person. She fails rather nicely in doing so.

The second story has Rita's little sister chasing after a thief (who turns out to be an alien) who stole her groceries with the help of Peke. Peke uses his abilities and lets Mikan change into a tight embarrassing outfit to beat up the bad gun only to be saved in the end by her brother who finds his sister in distress and lends her a hand by knocking out the bad guy.

The final part of the story is a Lala and Rita story that finds the two stuck together after Rita picks up one of Lala's many odd tools and discovers that he has an epic grip. But the first thing he grabs is Lala's tail of course we all know how sensitive that tail is so we know where this is going. Lots of hijinks and innuendo later his grip is finally released and all is well.

To-Love-Ru is licensed for the US so it's more than likely that these OVAs will also be picked up sooner or later. It's a fun good time nothing series or important goes on and you can enjoy the fanservice so if you're into that sort of thing you'll like it if your not than you wont simple as that really.

Here's the trailer for OVA series...

What an easy going week minus the busier than crap work and endless folding of laundry. That's what sucked about last week. What didn't suck about last week is the large quantity of lovely race queens that have popped up during the last week.

It's also handy for the new blog that I started up this last weekend as well for my automotive interests. Still not sure about how it's going to go since there really isn't a dannychoo out there for the Automotive otakus who are more interested in the cars at Itasha shows than the anime ladies covering the cars. The rest of the weekend was a pretty lazy one since the autocross scheduled for Sunday was cancelled thanks to the ever lame PBR or Professional Bull Riding that also was at the Idaho Center on that weekend. I'm glad I don't work at the hotel on the weekends anymore so I don't have to deal with those douchebag asshole cowboy wannabes. I'd take unruly teenagers over most of the rodeo idiots that we would get at work. At least I could call the teenagers' parents/guardians/chaperons.

Enough of that though. Some good stuff from this week is that I got the stickers that I ordered last week but sadly the Speedhunter stickers are smaller than I thought they would be but are still cool so are the crossbone/speech bubble JDMEGO stickers that also showed up. My photography case and laptop are a bit more covered in stickers but I need more dang it. With that the week was pretty much over and done with.

For a fun weekly video how about something from the CyberJapan girls a gogo girl group.

Introducing my new automotive only blog Sokudo no Matsuri my next adventure in blog land. Does the Internet really need another car blog? Well I'm here to find out if it does. I hope so other wise this will be one long boring road to no where. Visit the new blog here --> Sokudo no Matsuri

Basically this new blog will be where I post all the new links to the local autocross events and car shows that I go to instead of posting them here on the Hillbilly Otaku. It also frees me up to post other interesting car related stuff including following SuperGT. I hope to gather a following for the new blog but I just don't know if that will happen for a while.

Anyways that is what I've been working on today instead of a Shooter Saturday post which might just end as well depending on how much I want to post to both blogs which will be the biggest challenge that I'll face with the two blogs. Wish me luck on the new blog and I'll see you around here as well.

Another Friday another Foxy Friday babe. This week it's the lovely Yoko Kumada who as far as I know has never cosplayed as Yoko from Gurren Lagann. Although I think she would fill out the cosplay rather well indeed.

Yoko is your typical gravure model with a busy schedule full of book writing (she's released 3 dieting books) TV appearances aplenty and other various entertainment related things. She also has her various hobbies and activities that she likes to do. Then there are the occasional interesting rumors and what not. The good and only important thing for this blog is that she's a foxy Asian lady with an epic ton of pictures and videos and it doesn't look like she'll be hanging up her gravure role anytime soon.

You can find a good handful of pictures here at the Daily Chiobu
Also Scanlover forum has a few pages of her including video download links as well. Yoko
She even has her own little blog here Yoko's blog

Yoko Kumada has a TON of YouTube videos and here is only one of many:

Spending four nights a week folding laundry for a good few hours or so gives you a lot of time to think of things and come up with hair brained ideas (where do you think this blog came from anyways) and lately I've been thinking of stripping out the automotive content of this blog (making it more anime based) and creating another blog just for automotive content. I've actually been thinking about this for a while actually and I've come to the conclusion that it would be a good idea to be taken more seriously outside my little anime clique besides who's reading the blog for anime stuff really cares about the random car stuff. So I'd be doing two groups a huge favor.

The problem with creating another blog is of course coming up with a catchy name that would stand out among the rest of the automotive blogs out there. So far I haven't really clicked on anything really cool. The title of this blog post is about as good as I've gotten so far for a Title of the new blog and it means (I hope) Festival of Speed which I thought would be pretty interesting.

So why should I being doing an automotive specific blog. The simple answer is professionalism I'll admit that I'm not exactly all that gung-ho about sending people to this blog when it only pertains to stuff relating to automotive stuff like autocross and car shows. I'm not ashamed of my interesting in anime but I know that it's not at all professional to send people to a some what not work safe blog about anime. That and I kinda want to blog more about automotive news than I do on this page.

The blog would be a mix of original content from local car shows and autocross stuff and a mix of automotive news from around the world. I'd also like to follow SuperGT a bit more as well. I'm not leaving the anime blogging I'll be doing both but probably alternating days between blogs.

Some features that I want to keep around from this blog are the pictures of the day but I'll be changing it up to the Race Queen of the day and the cool car of the day. I'll probably also do a blog roll of the automotive blogs that I follow instead of feature feeds. Might do a Race Queen feature post weekly and who knows what.

I'll be working on the new blog this coming weekend since the autocross scheduled for this weekend was canceled. Might even have a first post ready to roll out at that time as well. Who knows but that's what I'm setting out to do this weekend. So there might be a slow down and changes coming to this blog soon as well as I try to manage two blogs.

To keep you entertained with something interesting and automotive related how about this video from Japan that if you skip to about the 3.30 minute mark you'll be rewarded with Rauh Welt Porsche 993 Turbo goodness.

Ladies Vs Butlers

Have a bit of anime with your fanservice. From the same ecchi friendly people who brought you Kanokon is another fun and bare breasts exposing anime series. This time it's a rom-com set in a school for upper class ladies and their potential butlers and maids. Ladies versus Butlers offers up a slew of interesting characters to make for a fun enjoyable little anime series. Add in the serious amounts of bare breasts and bottoms and you have a recipe for a nose bleeding good time.

I'll admit that that I liked it, and not just for the fanservice. As rom-com/harem/school slice of life series goes this one wasn't terrible at all sure some parts were generic comedy gags but the deeper story held up as two girls fought over one completely oblivious boy as he did his best to be a good stand-up student butler to his friends and his classmates. He's not only completely oblivious to the handful of girls that like him but he's also oblivious to the fact that his roommate is actually a reverse trap. Then you have the two girls who are first fighting each other for top honors but end up fighting over the boy as well. One is a prim and proper lady from a wealthy family who has always been the center of attention. Then you have the girl who comes into money when her mother re-marries. she's a classic underdog girl who will always strive to be number one. When the two meet at school it's an instant rivalry with the two girls.

It's not only those three that make up the great story either. The way clumsy maid (usually ends up with food on her or her clothes off her) her stripper sister (it's always a good time to take off your clothes) the LEGAL lolis which include an Otaku Princess and the manga artist. She's not the only princess either. There is a "Muslim" princess and her assassin bodyguard for that ethnic deadly twist. The Principal is a full blown Otaku who tries to incorporate scenes from her eroge games and anime into the school life.

Will it get picked up for release in the states? Well Kanokon hasn't as far as I know so I highly doubt this well either. Like Kanokon the DVD extras are extra ecchi content goodness. But I'm not entirely sure if there will be any new or "extra" stuff on the DVD version of the anime.

Dante's Inferno

Abandon all hope, ye who enter here. Or at least set aside any preconceived notions that an anime can do the real Dante's Inferno tail any real justice. Especially when it's based off another video game. Yup another anime tied to a video game franchise but was this one better than Dead Space, Devil May Dry, Halo Legends or any of the other ones? Well yes and no. It was definitely worth a rental. However, it just doesn't stand out as a totally epic and cool video game anime like it could have. The main reason is probably because of the animation.

Although it's not done like an anthology of separate stories like Halo Legends and Batman: Gotham Knight several anime studies worked on Dante's Inferno with each group having a second of hell to work with. As Dante traverses though hell to save his beloved Beatrice from becoming the next bride of Lucifer the animation style changes some times for the better and some times for the worse. Two great animation studios worked on this Manglobe (Samurai Champloo) and Production I.G. however some just shoddy hack talents also worked on it. Most notably the people responsible for Dead Space...yeah. So the bad or just acceptable animation sadly outweighed the good. I'm not saying that it made Dante's Inferno unwatchable it's just if one of the really good animation studios did the whole thing well damn than it would have been an epic anime adaption of the story, instead we're just left with an OK anime.

The good thing is that even with the questionable animation quality at least the story is fast and bloody as we follow Dante and his Spirit Guide though the nine circles of Hell so that he can save his beloved Beatrice who's sole was stolen by Lucifer. Hack and slash and boss battles galore followed with story development by way of flash backs and explanations by the spirit guide. Dante battles his way though the nine levels of Hell in a rush to keep Beatrice from becoming another bride for Lucifer.

Of course when Beatrice finds out about Dante's miss deeds while a "good" Christian solder she is all to happy to marry Lucifer and become his bride. Lucky for Dante though he's able to save his beloved Beatrice by....showing her the cross that she gave him before he left....WHAT! He saves her but because of what has happened she'll be stuck in Purgatory which only leaves Dante to the task of getting his own ass out of Hell.  That means confronting Lucifer once and for all in a frozen wasteland at the end of the ninth circle. Wait....wut, frozen wasteland? Yes, anyways, Dante finally confronts Lucifer only to find out that Lucifer is more tricky than he had thought and everything was all a trick to get Dante to that point so that he could free Lucifer from his immortal body's bindings. which of course he did...D'oh! Well it is Lucifer after all and he's had a lot of time to plot about his escape. Dante of course fixes it by condemning his own soul to Purgatory in order to keep Lucifer's body bound to Hell forever. Which leaves him to hang out with his lovely Beatrice in Purgatory and Lucifer to sulk off as a snake.

Violence, nudity (there is a bit of fanservice by the way) and religion all wrapped up in an interesting tail of the search for love and redemption...yup. I liked it well enough and you might to if you don't go into it thinking you'll get something really epic and cool. I did try to find some interesting pictures of Beatrice as the Hell bride but so far nothing has turned up.

Sora no Woto

So how was the K-on! goes to war anime? It was great and not as moe overdosing as I thought it would be at first. I liked it so much that I suggested we watch it the anime group as well and by luck of the draw it was selected so now even more people get to enjoy the goodness that is Sora no Woto with a twist. Oh it has a twist alright it's not all sunny days and smiles my friends. This war thing is serious business.

Sora no Woto or Sounds of the Sky is set in a post-apocalyptic world at an old Military Fort on the edge of the Helvetian Army's territory. The Fort is located near a town called Seize with a rich cultural history. The story starts with a new young army recruit who joined the army so that she could learn to play music after being inspired at an early age by a golden haired beauty playing Amazing Grace in the rain.

The young recruit is Kanata and she has a dream to be a Bugler and she finds her way to the old fort and her interesting squad mates. There are only four other soldiers stationed at the fort and they are all girls of varies ages and back grounds which all play an important part to the over all story progression.

The series goes about their daily lives at the fort and helping out the local townspeople and even has some interesting little side stories from the girls illegally selling their own home made wine to the crush that one of the girls has on their messenger. Being a war story you get going along with all the easy going stories until about 3/4 of the way into the series where it tosses you for a loop and shows you a back story of the Captain that takes us back to the end of the war where she is the sole survivor of her spider tank that was blown up. It was shock to see that and it was a turning point in the series that say the second in command being told to return and marry the Emperor of the Roman army in order to get the peace treaty signed. After she leaves to be married the girls are left to defend the fort and soon find themselves with a Roman scout prisoner and the ramping up of war escalations until the last couple episodes that finds the girls taking a stand against the ruthless army Sargent hell bent on finishing the war no matter what.

the last couple of episodes are just chuck full of back story fill in and action which leaves us with the second in command coming back with a decree for a cease fire form both sides. The war is over the girls from the fort were able to stop a battle and no one is badly hurt and with a wish offered to her the Second in Command is allowed to come back to the old fort and everyone is happy again.

I really did enjoy this series even though I thought it was going to be another sweet little K-on! type moe show it turned out to be that and more with a great story some interesting little side plots and a lot of emotion. I'd like to see this one licensed but since I haven't heard anything about K-on! getting picked up I don't think this one will be any time soon either. Which is sad since it's such a good show. The good thing is that there are two non-aired DVD exclusive episodes that will be out as well so I'm looking forward to seeing what those have to offer.

April showers bring May flowers...blah blah blah so far April has been a nasty weathery month and more rain is projected for the following week. Of course with the weather it's put a damper on the weekly activities and reduced them mostly to indoor adventures. Thankfully during the week some new better Race Queen images popped up for our enjoyment lots of good looking ladies this year that's for sure. Some not so great outfits though...ZENT I'm looking at you. So you definitely get to enjoy this post with one of those fine Race Queens.

Not only was the weather pretty bad but add to that feeling under the weather which got worse on Saturday after doing some yard work and this was a pretty down week. Thankfully work wasn't nearly as bad as it has been lately so that was good the weekend though was just kinda meh. It snowed several times (not really sticking around or anything though) and when it wasn't doing that the sun came out but so did the wind. I was able to get up on the roof for a while to clean out the gutters but only got about half done before the weather turned nasty again. Previous owners must not have ever cleaned those suckers out because they were just nasty. Now I just need a wheel-barrel to haul all that junk from the side yard someplace more useful.

Of course after that I was washing off the gutters and sidewalks and decided to knock off some old wasp nest mud and in doing so discovered that I managed to knock two gnarly spiders onto my left arm which thanks to wearing a hoodie it wasn't a big deal but still scared the crap out of me which upon noticing them I flushed them off with the hose and about as fast as I could stripped off the gloves, hoodie, t-shirt and brushing my hair as I ran to the bathroom to check and make sure I didn't have any more spiders on myself.

Of course after that I really wasn't feeling all that great and decided to skip the anime meetup and just go to bed. Woke up Sunday feeling a bit better but the weather up to no good I just spent the day doing house work and playing a bit of Forza. Put up some selves for my diecast cars and cleaned most of them but still have a few more to clean. And that was pretty much my week. Next week is Autocross number 3 and hopefully it'll be a nice weekend

And the video for today.... MORE Queen's Blade goodness with a trailer from the upcoming OVA.
