ABS-CBN’s contract star Angel Locsin said that she is really proud with her newest television series “Lobo.”

“I’m happy since this is also my first project with ABS-CBN,” Locsin told abs-cbnNews.com while walking inside the network’s compound for her next schedule.
Known for her portrayal of heroic characters, Locsin could not hide her feelings and revealed that after her contract ended with GMA-7 she really missed working. She said she is a type of person who really enjoys working. And now, with her first project with ABS-CBN she’s so excited to be back on screen to please the many people who have continued to support her.
“I’m very excited since I used to work and work, now I’m working again, rock and roll again, and of course I miss the people who are supporting me, I’d like to please them, to make them happy with what I’m doing,” she said.
Locsin who is very confident, promised that her latest project is simply one of the best that people should watch for.
“… People might expect but one thing I can promise is that the story of ‘Lobo’ is really good.”
Locsin also shared her experiences while taping the project and how the cast of the series work professionally.
“If you’re in the set you might think that we are doing a comedy series because our directors are wacky, very good but when it comes to doing the project we really work hard. …I’m really happy and my co-stars are really good.”
According to Locsin, “Lobo” will be aired starting January 28 and while thanking her supporters she also appealed to televiewers to watch the series.
“Lobo will be shown soon. I hope that you will watch it and thank you very much for all the support that you’ve shown me. And if not with you guys I wouldn’t be here, all the stars would not be here.”
Locsin rose to fame when she starred in fantasy series Mulawin in 2004. She then played the heroic character of “Darna” and top-billed in several movies.
She is well known as the on-screen love interest of actors Richard Gutierrez and Dennis Trillo.
Angel Locsin took the biggest gamble of her when she signed as contract star of ABS-CBN when her contract with GMA-7 expired last year.
After the controversies that came with her career move, Locsin is now working and ready to fulfill all her projects with Kapamilya network.
