Strike Witches 2

Looks like I'm getting to the end of a handful of the summer anime season series and one of those I just finished was the second season of Strike Witches.  The ladies with magic powers and no pants were back for another season of battling the Alien Neuroi with machine guns and striker units along with a handful of hijinks.  If you liked the first season you'll absolutely love the second if the thought of girls running around in swimsuits and panties all day long is revolting you'll absolutely hate it.  I'm in the love it camp myself.

The first season of Strike Witches ended with the girls going off in their own directions after a humanoid Neuroi made an appearance at the end.  The second season starts with an even larger Neuroi cluster wiping out the smaller hive with the humanoid Neuroi.  Soon the witches of the 501st Strike Witches unit are gathered all together again to combat the even larger Neuroi forces this time stationed out of the fake country of Romanga (Italy).  Little has changed from the first season.  The girls get called out to fight invading Neuroi and make quick work of them like usual.  This time around though we get a little more plot and a few more side characters.  Also the first jet striker unit shows up and promptly causes problems.  The first season the girl spent a lot of time in the closed off spa the second season the girls make their own hot spring open air bath where they once again spend a lot of time frolicking about.

The main parts of this season is Mio Sakamoto's declining witch powers and I don't want to spoil any thing for you so I'll leave it at she's trying to learn the ultimate strike with her new Katana named Reppumaru that could destroy Neuroi in one strike. The second main point is the military's development of a hybrid Neuroi battleship that is able to convert the largest battleship in their fleet to a controlled Neuroi ship able to destroy the core.  Lots of stuff happens with that but I can tell you the story ends happily with the destruction of the massive Neuroi Hive and once again the witches of the 501st disbanding again hopefully for the last time.

This season just seemed a lot shorter than the first season as it was mostly episodic and wasn't all about fighting the Neuroi or trying to figure out the Neuroi.  This season was all about the witches.  And I really enjoyed it.  Thankfully FUNimation has licensed this season as well for release in the states and had it streaming for a while on their video pages.  Crunchyroll also had it streaming as well.  I'm not sure if it's still there or not.  I'll be waiting for the DVD's though.

Check out one of the many short little trailers below.

Oh hey look at that another week has come to an end already.  September is fast coming to a close and it looks like summer is having a last go at it with a couple hot days still.  It's been a weird summer weather wise.  But officially summer is over. Which means work should start slowing down once again.  It also means racing will start to come to an end for the year as well.  But until then we have more race queens to keep you company on this post while I write about yet again how boring the week was.

And it was a boring week.  Work was work nothing to write about there.  Although I was able to enjoy a nice paid day off for a change.  I'll be taking a week off here in the middle of October and I can't wait until that happens.  I'll be able to get some things done around the house and maybe even get some work done on the car as well.  That or I'm just going to veg the hell out.

This weekend was an all important BSU football game that of course I had no interest in so did the MoNAC anime club thing which was a bit late in getting going thanks to a Magic release.  But for the most part other than some artifacting again (still need to figure out why it does that) MoNAC went off without a hitch.

While cruising around the internet I found out that one of my favorite Porsches the RAUH-Welt Porsche by the nickname of Stella Artois has gone up for sale so added a new donation button down there to the left as a joke so people could help me out in purchasing that lovely mean Porsche.  The button is real you can actually donate money but in likely hood I'd never raise enough money to buy Stella so the money would more than likely be spent on Otaku Goodies or Race Queen goodies on J-List.  Speaking of J-List I've already had 25 clicks (but no purchases yet) which was more clicks than I ever got in the same time period with Google Adsense, to bad that really doesn't mean much.  Oddly enough while I was editing the two blogs I messed up and erased the tracker for Google Analytics and I didn't check it for a couple days so I ended up with a blank spot of 4 days.  Oops

Once I got all that worked out it was time for one of my favorite F1 races.  The F1 race at Singapore under the lights.  It's always an interesting race and this year's race wasn't any different.  My team didn't do all that well with Hamilton getting punted by Webber.  But it didn't matter much as this was a race for Ferrari who took the trifecta of Pole Postion, the win and staying in the lead the longest.  That all boils down to a very interesting points championship race that is still anyone's guess.  It hasn't been this close for years.

So yeah that was my week and now I get to leave you with the video of the week and here it is.

Foxy Friday -- Kaori Morita

TGIFF also known as Thank Goodness it's Foxy Friday.  Yup time for another Foxy Asian lady to hit the blog and this week it's the former Zent Sweetie Kaori Morita (森田 香央里) who I discovered one day on Japan Sugoi an always entertaining blog about awesome stuff from Japan. Kaori is new to me but has been around for some time.  She has been a Race Queen, Gravure Idol, Actress and model.  The only thing missing is a career in signing although she does like to sing karaoke with friends.

Kaori (her figure stats: H171B88W57H86 or H5'6"B35W22H34 January 14, 1981) was a Zent Sweetie from 2007 until she retired in 2009.  She was the leader of the group in 2008.  Not only was she a Race Queen but she has also been a Car Show Booth Babe at TAS, TMS and Osaka Auto Messe she retired from the Race Queen scene to try her hand at modeling and to becoming an actress.  Her modeling career has found her in such Gravure Idol magazines such as: Young Champion, Sabra, Young Magazine, Weekly post, Weekly Playboy, GALS, Dream 21 and MISS.  Her Gravure Idol career has also produced 6 DVD titles.  On the actress side of things she has been featured in several commercials including Softbank, Lotte, Suntory Boss and Vernal Cosmetics.

Of course what you're all really waiting for are the pictures.  As a Gravure Idol and Race Queen she has a pretty good assortment of stuff out there.

First up is the Scanlover Forum post.  It's not a very large post and is missing some stuff.
If you're not registered at SLF you can find a few of her sets on Jappydolls
The Race Queen Project has some of her Race Queen photos
Hot Anime Girl Blog has a little posting of her pictures
Skins.be Forum doesn't need you to be registered to view their post of Kaori

Here are some nice videos of Kaori Morita

Highschool of the Dead -- Anime

It seems like it just started but sure enough Highschool of the Dead has finished it's run of 12 episodes already.  In my opinion that was way to fast for this series.  I know there is the OAD coming out some time during the spring of next year February 10, 2011 with the release of the 7th volume of the manga but it's an entirely different story than the series.  All I know is that this was one of the stand out anime series of the summer season and hopefully it'll get it's American DVD release soon since it was licensed before it even aired.

You could have checked Highschool of the Dead out on The Anime Network as it was simulcast but only to paying members and from what I heard it wasn't all that well subbed I also don't know if it was the censored version or the non censored version.  Personally I didn't watch it from them as I didn't want to pay just to watch that series.  I'd rather wait and buy the DVD's (BD's) from Sentai Filmworks when they are released. I just spied some screen caps of the DVD releases and the blacked out scenes have been uncensored for the DVD releases and the DVD menus are looking Fanservice fantastic as well.  It'll be interesting to see if there are any added bonuses on the DVD releases as The Anime Network is showing several extras to the point of being 25 total release either they are expecting a lot of extras or another season.  Rather interesting on their part.

In any case I was just happy to watch one of the most awesome manga that I was reading getting a damn good anime series that kept pretty close to the feel and story line of the manga.  There was lots of sweet zombie killing action.  An epic ton of fanservice and an awesome soundtrack.

If you don't know what Highschool of the dead is you must be living under a rock.  It's your basic zombie outbreak story plot but instead of adults it's mostly high school kids running around killing zombies looking for their parents and just trying to survive and cope with their new world.  There is a lot of zombie cliches but you know what it doesn't matter its still in my opinion a stand out performance in the latest crop of zombie offerings.  [Adult Swim] should pick this up to re-invigorate their anime lineup with something more adult and awesome but you know they wont the bastards.  They'll just keep adding more and more lame ass LAS or Live Action Shit to their line up instead of adding something as awesome as this.  OK I'm done ranting and raving

Sora no Otoshimono OVA

More Fanservice than you can shake your dirty stick at.  Sora no Otoshimono is back with a quickie OVA before the next season starts in October.  This was the "Too Dangerous to Air" episode from the original series that takes place after the last episode.  But thanks to it's mega amounts of Fanservice the episode was regulated to an OVA release.  What's sad though is that after all the hype and getting an OVA release the episode is still TV censored.

The entire crew is back for another fanservice laden episode that takes them from the girls locker room to a public pool so that Ikaros can help her master Tomoki peep in at the ladies like any horny teenage boy would want to. Of course Sohara is always there to thump him on the head for his perverted ways.

While Tomoki and Sohara are at it again in the never ending pervert wars Nymph is having some trouble adjusting to her new life as a master-less angeloid.  This is causing her some issues as she tries and fails to get Tomoki to give her orders.  Thankfully after a couple little chit chat's Nymph realizes that Tomoki not giving her orders doesn't mean he doesn't like her but that he's trying to let her be her self and let her do any thing that she wants to do.

Of course we can't forget the leader of the New World club Sugata and his never ending quest to fly.  Well in the OVA he's able to get his glider up in the air for a bit so that's all well and done for now.  And with that accomplishment done the OVA is over....or is it.  At the end we get a little sneak peak at the third Angeloid Astraea for the upcoming season.  The OVA was fun and it was much like any other part of Sora no Otoshimono for it's mix of comedy and fanservice so there wasn't anything new there.  The Frog censors in the pool was a bit odd but beats out the stupid magic steam or light beams.  FUNimation has licensed it and will be releasing it (but no telling how long it will take to be released) as Heaven's Lost Property.  Finally the second season has been picked up by Crunchyroll for streaming and since the series is censored anyways watching it on Crunchyroll (as long as it's not limited to paying members only or more censored than it normally is) should be a good and legal way to check it out.

Again here's the trailer for the second season since there isn't anything for the OVA. I'm looking forward to the next season.

Another week has flown by which of course means it's time for another weekly review.  Of course this weak was another humdrum same old same old week with nothing major having had happened.  Work, yup did that.  Sleep, when the dog would let me.  Everything else, meh. Really nothing going on but working on the blogs.  This weeks RQ Team feature on the other blog took forever because apparently I did a team that hasn't got much fan fair.  Thankfully it didn't take long to pick out a lovely RQ image for this blog's picture.

The work schedule has really tossed me around a bit and I end up losing a lot of laundry folding time but thankfully things have calmed down a bit so there isn't any thing just down right painful about it at the moment thankfully.  Thanks to the change in work schedule I've also started watching more anime before work (nothing on TV) so that will help speed up my viewings and hopefully I'll get some shows that have been sitting on the back burners watched now.  Now if the dog would just let me sleep more.

One thing did happen this week that caught me off guard.  If you haven't noticed yet but the google ads are now gone and that's because my adsense account was disabled...OOPS!  Yeah it's totally my fault and to be honest it's not an OMG! big lose really.  So instead I went and looked around for more logical and better affiliate programs that are out there and so far I've decided to go with the Otaku favorite J-List.  And I have it set up so that I earn store credit since yeah I like J-List myself and now you guys can help me buy my Otaku fixes now.  If you can think of any other cool anime or car related affiliate programs please let me know.

This weekend I haven't done crap except for going to MoNAC like usual and now I need to figure out why my laptop likes to pixelate of late when at MoNAC because it doesn't do it when I'm just normally watching anime at home (or work).  I find it annoying I can't imagine how others see it.  The only other thing I did this weekend besides blog and watch TV was take a couple pictures of a spider eating a fly.  I thought it was pretty cool.  You can peep the pictures -- here and here

With that it's time for the weekly video and here it is.  A bad ass Alfa tearing it up until that last corner.

Foxy Friday -- Mari Komatsuzaki

Holy smokes it's already Friday and sure enough it's time for another awesome Foxy Friday Feature.  This go round will feature gyaru and lingerie model Mari Komatsuzaki (小松崎 真理).  Mari is a bit new to the scene as I haven't seen a lot of picture sets out yet (OK there is only the one Sabre set out at the moment) for her but she is just so damn Foxy Hot how could I not feature her. Plus the fact that she has several videos out that make up for the current lack pictures.

Mari is a 22 year-old gyaru style model and while I really like my Asian ladies with jet black hair I do also like some gyaru style ladies as well.  I don't like all the styles of gyaru and if you have no idea what the heck I'm talking about you can educate your self by reading up on the current gyaru styles by following this link --  Gyaru Styles.

As a gyaru model she has been featured in the trendy teen magazine EGG as well as the new fashion magazine BLENDA.  In addition to the magazine modeling she is also a lingerie model for the brand La Miu.  I hope to see more of Maria in future picture sets, time will only tell.  In the mean time you can check her out on the following links --

You can find her post on Scanlover Forum which at the moment is pretty sparse.
If you're not registered there Jappydolls has the same set and the only set at the moment
Found this BLOG that has some extra pictures of her.
Japan Sugoi has a few posts up for her

While there isn't that many pictures of her floating around at the moment on the video side of things there are several videos for her on YouTube

She also apparently did a little singing bit as well

Culture Japan Ep1 subbed

There's a good reason to subscribe to some people's YouTube channels and a rather interesting video popped up the other day on the subscription watch list from the one and only TokyoStormtrooperDanny Choo has been doing a lot of things lately and one of those things was starting up a TV program called Culture Japan where he takes a look at the interesting cultures of Japan.  You can check out his posting about the show on his site.  However, if you didn't live in Asia where the show was broadcast you were pretty much SOL on checking out the show.  That was until the other day when it popped up on YouTube.

The episode was even subbed although I'm pretty sure there are large chunks missing in the translation.  This episode takes a look at a real Japanese High School, Good Smile Company, a digital media college in the heart of Otaku wonderland Akihabara as well as the sit down conversation with the voice actress of Ritsu from K-on! Satomi Sato.  I enjoyed the show I just hope that we get the rest of the episodes as well when ever they come out.  It looks like they are currently filming the next episode and it looks interesting.

If you want to check out some cool Japanese culture check it out.

Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari

One definite problem with a monthly released and slow subbed OVA series that's 13 episodes long is that it takes some serious time to finish. And I just recently finished Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari more than a year after I started watching the show.  You're probably thinking wow that's a long name what's it mean well the literal translation is "The Tale of the Holy Machine Wielder from Another World" thankfully many have shortened the title down to just Saint Knight's Tale or even better ISM and the OVA series is a spin off of the Tenchi Muyo franchise which thankfully you don't need to know anything about when watching ISM.

ISM is a lot of things from a mecha show to a school slice of life romcom but what has to be the biggest part of the series is that this is a mega super harem show with added combat goodness.  I don't think any one has a larger harem than poor reluctant Kenshi the hero of the story.  Kenshi is an Earth boy who's teleported from there to the world Geminar and is persuaded to assassinate a princess using a medium sized white mecha called a Seikijin.  He fails at taking out the princess and ends up becoming her servant after the princess and her group of girls find out about his ordeal.

The Princess was on her way to the Holy Land Academy to take classes and she brings Kenshi along for the ride.  While the Princess and her troop are off doing their things Kenshi is left to do the servant thing.  Soon enough because Kenshi has an uncanny ability to do just about anything like cooking, cleaning advanced combat and survival skills he becomes a highly sought after young lad that has the entire female population of the academy chasing after him.  Really they are always chasing after him as he's always running away from them.  He's soon transferred from chore boy to being taught to be a male Seikijin pilot and is given a bit more latitude at the Academy.

Life at the Academy is going great but there is a small faction of terrorists and plotters planning something bad and sure enough bad guys take over the Academy and other important places in order to take control and also revive a long lost super weapon.  Everyone flees the Academy but regroups to take the fight to the terrorists.  In order to do this Kenshi decides to create his own little country on the Princess's ship.

Kenshi and his mega super harem wage war against the evil man and his super weapon and you can guess how that all goes (it all works out in the end) and we're once again left with the harem chasing after poor reluctant Kenshi.

To say I liked this show would be an understatement.  I really enjoyed watching the show and loved all the silly and funny bits along with all the fun Harem and fanservice stuff.  The battles were OK nothing to spectacular there or ground breaking.  I wish there was more music to it but hey can't have everything you wished for.  I do wish that they would license the series here but I don't know if that will happen even with it being a spin off of the popular Tenchi Muyo franchise. I know Crunchyroll wont because of the nudity and what not but maybe FUNimation will release a box set.

Check out one of the many and I do mean many trailers for the series on YouTube

It's another end of the week review already.  Time sure does fly doesn't it.  Was there anything really cool to write about this week?  Not really,  didn't go to the autocross event in Mountain Home and Super GT was canceled.  Did watch F1 though.  So it turned into another basic run of the mill week.  Speaking of Super GT and it's unfortunate cancellation there has been some recent additions from many of the blogs that I follow from fellow Race Queen fans so there is still plenty of lovely Race Queens to share until late October and the second to last round of the Super GT series.

Work really hasn't been all that bad lately but the constant time changes in the schedule has been an odd thing to sort out both with how soon I get ready to get to work and how I manage my time at work.  Friday night's shift is the worst though as it's only a 6 and a half hour shift.  It's a giant time waster of a shift since I can't really do any real work since I figure that I lose upwards of 3 hours of laundry folding time.  I know I hate folding laundry but really it's a job and it makes me feel bad that I can't finish the job.  Oh well that's life right.

Of course I really kinda hate the whole working 5 days thing now too I can't believe how much I really did enjoy getting that extra day off.  Yet again... that's life. The main reason for that is now I'm sleeping away my Saturdays and really tossing around my schedule for the Foxy Friday Feature and the Race Queen Team Feature for the other blog I used to have time to do both on Friday now not so much.  So I'll probably just end up doing the RQ Team on Saturday after MoNAC.

Speaking of MoNAC more drama there as right now there's lots of questions in the air as to where and what is happening to the club due to the frequent questionable nature of the current venue site. To be honest I'm not even sure what's going on myself.  I just show up and do what I can and it wasn't a bad time this last week even if there was some annoying little issues with some of the playback.

And apparently I just sort accidentally the whole blog while writing this blog since I couldn't figure out why the tags were no longer showing up.  So yeah there's a new blog layout look this week as well.  I might just have to work on it a little bit more once I get done with this blog post. But yeah that's pretty much the extent of last week.  Nothing all that exciting so I'll have to leave you with an exciting video to make up for it.

OK I saw this video a few days ago and I know it's not a hot chick or anything but I really do want to visit Japan one day and with a bunch of the guys on the super secret forum (WayOT) visiting there this month it's really getting on my nerves.  Anyways yeah the video... (don't forget to watch in HD too)

Foxy Friday -- Li Yu Fen

We were in Korea last week and this week we're heading to Taiwan for this week's Foxy Friday Feature.  For this week's Foxy Asian we'll be taking a look at Li Yu Fen (李毓芬) aka Little Vivian Hsu a Taiwanese model that has been featured in a few Asian men's style magazines like Esquire and what have you.  If you're wonder why she is called Little Vivian Hsu it's because she's almost a dead ringer for Vivian Hsu and has replaced her on TV show.  In any case she is just a gorgeous lady with a penchant for beating up Panda bears (you'll see).

Li Yu Fen also goes by the name Tia Li as well.  Tia has been modeling for a while and in addition to that she has also been acting in commercials and lately regular TV shows.  One in particular because she looked like another actress who dropped out during the shooting.  Of course she has also been in many men's magazines and even a featured model on MOKO.cc as well.

She has some pretty nice stats
Birthday -- May 11, 1985
Height -- 163cm (5'3")
Figure -- 32C/23/35

Since she's been doing the modeling thing for a while she has a pretty good resume of pictures that you can find around the Internet.  She even has a couple photobooks out as well.  You can find her pictures at a few places.  The most complete though is probably from Scanlover Forum but if you haven't registered there yet (why wouldn't you) you can also check out some of these other sites as well for a pretty good round up of her pictures. There is a site that I don't know what to call it other than by it's address which is babe.1626 that has a few sets of hers up. Asian Chicki also has a few pictures of hers.  While I was looking for more info on her I found Osaki's Blog that has a posting with a large assortment of her pictures.  While I was looking around I also found her own personal blog

Check out this funny commercial where Li Yu Fen beats up a Panda

But if you want super sexy how about this video

And one more for the road

Break Blade 2: Ketsubetsu no Michi

Finish the review of the first movie and low and behold there's the second one already to watch.  That was pretty fast.  To bad the third one isn't out until some time in October.  Break Blade: Ketsubestsu no Michi is the second movie in the six part series.  While there was still a lot of generic hero boy mecha show plot devices thrown around the second movie was a step above the first in regard to plot movement and outright action.  This is getting good but will it hold it all together and be an epic awesome movie series?  I hope so.

The second movie starts up right where the first one left off with the invading Mechass attacking the fortified city walls.  Hero boy sets out to talk with his old friend to negotiate a peaceful surrender.  Of course his old friend doesn't know that for the king to surrender it means signing his and his wife's death notice.  And the hero doesn't even mention that fact to him.  You can tell there is some conflict in why the Hero's friend is fighting and neither one of them wants to hurt the other.

Until of course the typical jump the gun war happy general gets his squad and himself in some hot water leaving the two friends no other choice to fight.  The hero runs off avoid fighting his friend only to wind up in another fight with the overly gung-ho chick who the hero fought before.  Itching for a rematch they scrap and of course the Hero is able to keep her at bay with some amazing power and an uncanny bit of luck.  The hero is able to take the girl out of the fight when another soldier shows up to collect the hero and take him back.  Before doing so the new soldier is going to finish off the fallen warrior as there is no place in this war for prisoners.  The hero isn't happy with that idea.

Preventing the soldier from killing the girl allows her time to fire one last shot killing the just arrived soldier.  Moments later after saying her last farewells and getting the last wordy shots off at the young hero, who doesn't want her to do something stupid, offs herself instead of becoming a prisoner to a bunch of Barbarians.  Now our young hero realizes just how bloody and unfair war really is and he wants no part of it.

After learning the harsh realities of battle the young hero says his goodbyes to his friends and finds out that the king has decided to surrender.  Before he gets to far out the door  the young hero decides that he should stay and fight and protect his friends.  After the credits roll we find out that you young hero has been officially knighted and has joined the ranks of the military.  Once again we get a lot of pretty generic mecha hero boy plot devices but  in the middle of all that is a pretty well written story up to this point so far.  Hopefully it will continue in that way.  The animation looks fantastic and the battles are pretty good nothing to epic and overly outlandish.

Now I'm really excited about seeing how the third movie will continue the story and how all the friends will re-connect and solve the big picture. Almost makes me want to snag the novels and find out but I'm not that gung-ho about that much ready at the moment.  I can wait for the movies.

The individual movies don't have their own trailers and why post the same video I posted last time....and I don't want to post the videos of the actual movie so how about an AMV instead this time.

Break Blade movie 1

Mecha goodness this summer came by way of a six part movie series for the Manga Break Blade.  The first movie was released on DVD not to long ago and I'm only now getting to the my little review of the movie.  Just like with the movie release of Kara no Kyoukai I'll be cover each individual movie as they are released.  And after the first movie I'm just as excited as I was for the Kara no Kyoukai movies.

Each of the movies will be based on one of the first six graphic novels of the series and the first movie is the basic introductory story that introduces the watcher to the world that uses Quartz to do everything.  It's like magic based on the ability to use crystals.  The world is at war and there are two kingdoms in a fight.  Of course this being a very typical Mecha series there is of course one poor sap out there who's unable to use the quartz and a huge powerful Mecha that doesn't work for any one other than said none quartz user.

So the guy who up until now was simply a worthless guy is now the most pivotal person in the series.  Pretty typical Mecha fair up to that point.  It gets a bit more interesting when we find out how everyone is involved in the series.  The unfortunate un-sorcerer turns out to be good friends with the current King and Queen of one country and also friends with the commander of the invading force out to take over the kingdom.  He's forced into the middle of the fight thanks to his ability to control the mega mecha and his desire to find his friend and stop them from fighting.  Also it looks like the King and Queen are not in a happily after ever marriage which I'm sure will cause some conflict later on as it looks like the Queen might also have a thing for the poor un-sorcerer.

Their pasts will catch up with them, blood will be shed and things will happen.  The Mecha fighting looks awesome already (minus the whole square bullets made of hardened quartz thing that I just laughed about) and only an ever so slight bit of fanservice round out this rather typical but still fun to watch Mecha movie.  I'm very much looking forward to the next one which should be released here soonish.  Also it doesn't hurt at all that it's a Production I.G. and XEBEC production.  You can check out this much longer and more in-depth review complete with nice screen caps here -- Random Curiosity

Here is a trailer for the movie series.

Hey it's another end of the month weekly review.  We're now in September and it's getting cooler again and of course football is back.  Also means motorsports are fast coming to the end of their seasons.  Still have three races left in Super GT and a good handful for F1.  I still have a ton of Race Queen teams to do for the other blog so that will hopefully last well into the new year and I'll have to then start all over again in the mean time you can enjoy this Race Queen picture.  In any case how was this week?

Well it wasn't as bad as last week.  No crazy weird late work days in fact work wasn't all that bad minus just not getting much done thanks to the weird hours.  So with it finally settled down again work has just gone back to be being work.  And that's a good thing really.

Later in the week an old friend called me up to ask me for help in replacing his alternator and since those are fairly easy to fix I figured it would be an easy two hour job.  Nope all but one nut came out with out any trouble.  It's that last bolt that was tightened down by an air-tool to the point that it simply wasn't removable.  I had to leave after four hours because I needed to get home to bed to head back to work.  The next day I called him up to find out if they had finally gotten it off.  They did and had it tested to find out that it was fine.  So I headed back over to help them replace the starter.  And that was a much harder project because it's like cramming 10 lbs of shit into a 8 lbs hole.  It just wasn't going in and after struggling for several more hours on that we gave up and called it a day.  I hate working on cars and not getting that stuff finished but my arms were sore I was tired and I was getting sunburned.  I also still had to go to work that night as well.

That all brought me to Saturday and time for MoNAC after getting a pretty nice nap in after work.  MoNAC was good minus a technical glitch on my part.  I sold off a couple blind box figures only to pick up the same damn ones later that night again at Hastings.  My luck with getting the two Yoko's of the other brand screwed this time.  Oh well.  I'll probably sell those two again and buy some more.  I also picked up the 5th Vol of the Gurren Lagann Manga as well as the latest issue of 0-60 magazine solely for the Rauh-Welt article in there.   Now it's Laber Day and I'm getting a chance to sit down relax (something I did entirely on Sunday) and post up this weekly review.

Now I just need a awesome video to leave you off with.  Hmmm... how about racing and Race Queens... yup I think that'll work.  Maybe not that video had embedding disabled (the bastard)

Foxy Friday -- Im Soo Yeon

The Foxy Friday Feature is turning more into a Foxy Weekend Feature.  Thanks to work and other fun (not) things.  I haven't taken a look at any of the super hot Foxy Asians from Korea lately so this week the Foxy Friday Feature will be the super cutie Im Soo-Yeon (임수연) or as I've come to nick name her Im Soo Hot.  She's an up and coming Korean model that I found on Idol Retouch's blog some time ago and I've been keeping an eye out for her new pictures since then.  Sadly though I've never seen her in any videos yet.

I don't know much about her as there aren't really any bio pages out there for a lot of the Korean Models like there is of the Japanese Gravure Idols (Known in Korea as Gravia Models)  finding any real tangible information about her and her career is next to impossible, no one has anything on her.  Not a personal blog or a professional site at all that I could find.  Crazy Koreans, makes it hard to keep track of your favorite Korean model, except for the many  blogs that follow those same Korean models.

So finding her pictures is actually fairly easy as I'm not the only one who's a big fan of this long legged cutie you can find various photosets of her's around on various blogs but the best sites to find her pictures at in all their HD glory and unmolested by other sites' banners.

Idolretouch is by far the best place to find her picture sets.
Really Cute Asians is another great site to find some picture sets of her -- However
KoreaFTW is where you'll have to head to get the rest of sets
Even Asian Chika has a couple pictures of her up too.

Everything else is usually just repeats of the post from those following sites.

Fall 2010 Anime Season

So what if I entirely missed the summer season preview thing. I was busy. Or just lazy it was one of the two probably the later though.  But this time I'm getting it together for the Fall 2010 Anime Season crap wanna watch preview.  It's currently looking like it's going to be a lot of OVA and OAD videos for this season though.  Nothing wrong with that though.  Now if all those movies from previous seasons would find their way on to DVD's I'd be set for a mostly uncommitted season.

First and for most the preview picture this time around is a first addition from The Cart Driver only because he has a more complete edition so far this year.  I imagine chartfag will have his updated soon enough though.  Of course there are other charts as well now but they just are not as good as these two.  Then of course there is always Moetron's mega list that is constantly updated as new things are announced or finalized.  Now if everything will just work out this time so that I can have preview clips for everything but you and I both know that just isn't going to work out so well.

So yeah here is what I'm planning to watch during the Fall 2010 Anime Season.

TV SERIES:
Iron Man:  I've posted about this so many different times I don't think I even need to tell you why I'm going to watch this anymore.  And then I'll watch it again in English during it's run on G4.

Sora no Otoshimono: Forte:  I loved the first season will be watching the extra OAD as well and I'm definitely looking forward to another fanservice and fun season of a boy and his extremely powerful angeloid.

Super Robot Wars OG -The Inspectors:  Hey look it's some epic freaking Mecha goodness.  I'm going to check this one out just because I thought the preview looked seriously bad ass.  And I haven't seen a good bad ass Mecha show in a while.

Hyakka Ryouran Samurai Girls:  Cute Girls check, weapons check, fanservice definitely looks like a check, a preview that made me instantly want to watch it.  Major Check.  This show really does look like it will be the bad ass anime series of the season though.

Otome Youkai Zakuro:  OK this series is on the iffy side of want to watch but I'm going to check it out at least.  The preview looked interesting enough to warrant that much.

Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru: This one definitely looks like it will be another funny crazy anime series that will be a good way to escape from the pains of the everyday.  Or some thing like that.

Star Driver: Kagayaki no Takuto:  Another interesting looking mecha series from Bones who definitely know what they are doing when it comes to awesome mecha series.

Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai :  This one also looked like it would be another  funny series to watch so I'm going to give a try at least.

Motto To Love-RU -Trouble-:  OK now here is some fun Fanservice to watch.  If you didn't think To Love Ru was fanservicey enough they added the team behind Ladies Vs Butlers and Kanokon (and I enjoyed all three so you know I'm going to be watching) for even more Fanservice goodness.  Make sure you keep a healthy amount of Kleenex and blood on hand while watching this one.

Toaru Majutsu no Index II:  So I liked Railgun but I haven't gotten around to ever watching the first season of Index but I think I'm going to have to if I want to check this one out as well.  The Franchise has me interested that's for sure.

Now that I have all that spread out like that holy crap I'm going to be a busy anime watcher if I watch all that and also the movies and specials.  Crap.  Speaking of specials and Movies these are the OVA/OADs that I'll be watching .  These will be the news.  I'm currently still watching Katanagatari, Black Lagoon; Roberta's Blood Trail, Queen’s Blade: Utsukushiki Toushi-tachi, Aki Sora ~Yume no Naka~ , kiss x sis and Issho ni Series.

OVA and OAD SERIES
Sora no Otoshimono (OAD): That fabled 14th episode from the first season OAD I believe.  Basically more hilarious Fanservice goodness.
NO PREVIEW YET

Seikon no Qwaser: Empress no Shozo (OAD):  Yeah it'll probably be even more breast sucking craziness but it's sort of like a train wreck you just can't help but want to look at it.

Seikimatsu Occult Gakuin (OAD):Watching the series right now and I'm sure this will be just as good so definitely have to check it out.
Notice a trend yet?  NO PREVIEW YET

Toaru Kagaku no Railgun (OVA): Yes I'm happy that I'll get more Railgun as well.  And finally one with a trailer...

Yozakura Quartet: Hoshi no Umi (OVA):  I loved the series so you better believe I'm going to be watching the OVA as well.

Air Gear: Kuro no Hane to Nemuri no Mori – Break on the Sky (OAD):  It's the same for the Air Gear OAD I loved the original series and always wished there was another season of it but I guess I'll just have to settle for an OAD just as well.

Koe de Oshigoto! take.1 (OVA):  This one looks like it will be a hilarious comedy as well with just a touch of the naughty naughty tossed in for good measure.

G-Best -G-taste Best Selection- (OAD):  This one will probably take the cake on all of them for raunchy fanservice though and of course I'll have to check it out as well.

And with that last little bit of nose bleed fanservice goodness I think I'll be a very busy blogger if I can get everything watched that I want to and if you toss in the films that will find their way to DVDs I'll have a lot of stuff to be watching and keeping you updated on.
