Another release of the Halo Legends anime series this last Saturday and it was a short but fantastic one. This episode is directed by none other than Shinji Aramaki and you could tell as this is the first very good looking episode no experimental animation technique no American Looking animation the CGI 3D looking stuff that you would expect from the Halo Legends Anime. But this episode is part one of two and is only 7 minutes long.
But a damn good looking action packed eyecandy filled 7 minutes. This episode finds a group of Spartans decloaking from deep space for an invasion mission in space to retrieve a very important piece of kit from the Covenant forces.
The Spartans only 5 members strong hop on their flying weapons (I don't know what they are called yet but basically it's a flying weapon) and infiltrate the Covenant Fleet looking for some item of course the Covenant forces know they are looking for it and set a trap. Leading the Spartans to one of their Ships with a decoy and a massive bomb. Destroying one of their own ships in a trap that takes out one of the Spartans leaving the rest to find the real item in an intense dogfight that takes out another Spartan leaving only three of them to infiltrate the flag ship of the Covenant Fleet. The last three Spartans make it into the Flag Ship and we are left with the scene of them taking off running into a massive amount of Covenant Forces.
