Been working hard this week which is why this weekly review is late but it's well worth the wait as my latest Figma figure showed up just moments ago and I've been playing with her for a little bit. Hitagi Senjyogahara from Bakemonogatari came at would could only be the worst time as I was looking to spend that money on the Jetta but now that she is here I can't really complain all that much. Now I need to go find a cute Race Queen to post for this weeks blog. Thankfully there isn't any shortage of hot yummy Race Queens around this year to pick from.
The work week was OK nothing to exciting that I haven't mentioned before in last week's weekly review. So that's pretty boring. Although they did finally get the video surveillance system working again so no crazy antics anymore I guess.
Other than that this weekend I was busy working on some of my own projects. Cleaned up a bit of the house and then finally moved on to the garage and put some shelving units that my dad gave me several months ago. I still need to anchor the other side of the cabinets to the wall though before we go putting anything big in them. I was doing this while I waited for the rain to stop so that I could work on the Jetta outside.
When it finally stopped raining for a bit I scrambled out there to fix the windshield washer fluid line and it was a much easier fix than I thought. I just had to unplug the broken piece and replug in the rest of the line and then fill the fluid tank. That was easy. While I was doing that I took note of the part number from the part in the engine bay that is just hanging there and found out that it is part of the removed remote starter so I'll be able to remove that here soon.
I also finally removed the ugly ass CB radio antennae base that was mounted to the trunk lid and replaced it with a much smaller magnet antennae from a broken XM radio system. Later on I'll probably get a nice white vinyl sticker to cover the hole permanently.
Then I spent the rest of the time this weekend looking up parts for the Jetta and looking at how to do a suspension upgrade and it looks like it'll be a bit more complicated than the roommate's RX-8 but still pretty easy. Also I'll probably spend an extra $100 on extra parts since I wouldn't want to put in the same old 20+ year old rubber parts. It also looks like I'll be investing in a lot of PB blaster as well.
After all that it was time to get to the Foxy Friday Feature and head to bed to wake up enjoy my new Figma figure and write my Weekly Review. Check out some of these cool videos that I found this week as well.
