The Music Industry Association of Korea has just certified that SNSD’s first album has sold more than 100,000 copies. According to StarNews, the last pop-oriented girlgroup in Korea to accomplish this feat was S.E.S, approximately 6 years ago when the K-pop market was in a much better condition.

And GG the first album, scores over 100, 000 copies, to be exact, 104,092. Bad Oppa is number one for some ringtone chart. SNSD has their own show. Taeyeon is becoming pro at djing along, same goes for Sunny. Bad Oppa will have a MV, promotions will start. The girls on Hi-5, again. Girls' Generation Promotions have ended, but it looks like our girls are never resting. Resisting the urge to spam everyone with SNSD news, but this is a huge accomplishment (even some of their sunbae's first albums never reached 100,000 copies). This really proves the girls are both marketable and talented (lol this is my bias, if you disagree, please move on, but i find them extremely talented). [And i know when i read this i was like .. what about Seeya, and i think they meant more pop-oriented groups, and seeya is not pop]
