Girls' Generation has become a target for fashion magazines.
'Girls craze' Girls' Generation is trying to establish roles as models and has been getting many calls to be in various fashion magazines. They were recently featured in Arena magazine's pictorial, and now there is swarming competition for more arrangements.
The primary targeters are late teen magazines, but now even the high end magazines are scrambling to grab Girls' Generation and their popularity is being proven once again.
Fashion magazines want these nine members because of their variety and personality and charm. Since their image ranges from innocence, cuteness, to sexiness, they are able to portray a wide variety of fashion. This is also better for Girls' Generation, since they also are facing tough competition.
One fashion magazine said, "Girls' Generation stands in the center of the 2007 and 2008 'girls craze'. Fashion now has a tough code," and "The members are very well suited for pictorials."
An SM Entertainment agent said, "We have made a few arrangements for Girls' Generation over the phone already," and "We're glad to hear that Girls' Generation has such a good reputation. We will make better efforts as well."
Also, Girls' Generation's 1st album second song "Kissing You" has become successful and popular. There has also been many topics about their dance craze for the lively lollipop dance.
