F.T. Island is a South Korean boy band. The name is abbreviated from “Five Treasure Islands” due to the group being consisted of five members.
Debut and First Album
On 7th June 2007, the group made their debut performance on the music program M!Countdown Their first album, "Cheerful Sensibility", was released the next day. The 13-track album was divided into 2 parts, each with a distinct music style and its own producer. The first division, dubbed "Emotional Chapter", produced by successful producer Han Sung Ho, consists of rock-ballad songs. The second portion, "FT Island Chapter", contains pop-rock tracks.
