kindle- The web browser on Kindle Fire introduces a radical new paradigm -- a "split browser" architecture that accelerates the power of the mobile device hardware by using the computing speed and power of the Amazon Web Services Cloud. The result is a faster web browsing experience, and it's available exclusively on Kindle Fire.

By Jason Hribal, historian and author of Fear of the Animal Planet: The Hidden History of Animal ResistanceWhile bread and circuses might work on the human species, orangutans require a different combination of incentives. Their control lies in bananas and sex. Orangutans are almost helpless to such things. It’s instinct, don’t you know. Surely, if San Diego Zoo officials could just discover the correct instinctual cocktail, they could solve their orangutan problem before it got any worse. All they needed was a lot of bananas, some willing female participants, and time. Efforts on this project began in earnest in the summer of 1985. The new Heart of the Zoo exhibit had opened three years earlier, and day to day operations could not have been going better. But then that darn Ken Allen started acting up. Ken was born in February of 1971 to San Diego’s Maggie and Bob. He was, officially speaking, a Bornean orangutan - although he never stepped foot on the island nor knew anything about arboreal culture. It might be more correct to classify him as a zoo orangutan. Institutional life was the only one that Ken ever experienced. The zoo is where he was born, and the zoo is where he died of lymphoma in 2000. In between, Ken had to deal with captivity on a daily basis. Interestingly, the San Diego Zoo understood from the very beginning that he was going to be more difficult to handle than the facility’s previous orangutans...[continued]

Did you hear the news? Chris Christie is going to save the Republicans from Rick Perry, who was supposed to save them from Mitt Romney but turned out to be a completely inept debater and a traitor on issues like illegal immigration and injecting little girls with mental retardation. Now, granted, Christie has said a hundred times that he isn't ready to run for president and won't do it. He's even threatened to kill himself to show how serious he is. But with Perry proving himself less than ideal, the never-satisfied GOP elite is once again pining for a conservative savior who can unite the party (or at least the anti-Romney faction of the party) and defeat President Obama. According to various reports, Christie is telling donors that, public refusals notwithstanding, he's open to reconsidering. Yesterday, former New Jersey governor Tom Kean said Christie is "giving it a lot of thought." But if conservatives think Christie is the answer to their every prayer, they may be making the same mistake they made with Perry — allowing themselves to become enamored with the idea of Christie, while overlooking who he actually is. Conservatives know the New Jersey governor is a straight-talker who slashes budgets and takes on the public unions and yells at people on YouTube. Which is all great, obviously. But on some issues, Republican primary voters would be in for a rude awakening...[continued]seeChris Christie @ Wikipedia

If you judged the popularity of a series based on how much fanservice fans create a quick look to see only a couple pages worth is a clear indicator of just how unpopular the series was. So yeah it's not a very popular series and yet I still watched it to the end. Why? Probably because it had so much potential but got trapped in the cliched duldrums of school based mecha battle blah blah blah lets toss in some romance harem stuff for good measure. However, I did love the talking rock with the visible wording and what have you. That and the battle maids for me made it worth it.
The character development was rushed or just tossed out the window occasionally. At times you were left wondering why this person was doing this and that. So it really did just become too jumbled with various characters and their role in the series. And then add to that the double end and redemption of the original bad guy you left at the end wondering exactly what the hell just happened.
You can still watch the series on Crunchyroll and hulu if you want to check it out and if you really like personal mecha suits and the whole school life thing then it shouldn't be to bad to just waste some time with it since you don't have to wait until next week to see the rest. If you want to know more about Sacred Seven I suggest reading the wiki page for it that does a better job than I would be able.
Here are a couple trailers for the series.

So yeah work is work nothing new there really it's still in that perpetual head scratching what the hell is going to happen next state of uncertainty. While I wasn't working I was working on the car this week. I decided to repaint the front grill and I was happy with the results. While that was going on I smogged the car replaced one of the headlights and voltage regulator. You can read all about it and a few other things that I've done to the Jetta lately on the car blog here --> Project Jetta Part 6
With that done the weekend was mine to sleep and relax and take out some extra wiring that I found in the Jetta earlier. I even watched a new show on HBO called Boardwalk Empire. Great show if you like the gangster era and Steve Buscemi who plays the lead role in the series. Do be warned it has lots of violence and lots of sex (from what I watched today). Other than that I did a bit of blogging and looking for the latest news on this weekends Idler's Games.
So to leave you this week here are some videos that I promised.

So Kelly models, was a Singapore GP grid girl contestant who finish 3rd behind some of Singapore's other fine models and is an internet personality thanks to her blog, Facebook (personal page)and twitter accounts and. All of which leads to an interesting person to follow. That and she's easy on the eyes. The down side to all of this is that like a lot of other good looking ladies there are the crazy creepers who harass her which is sad really. It's one thing to admire and enjoy what someone has to offer but it's a hole other thing to be a lame ass creeper. But hopefully no one reading this is one of those lame creepers and we can all just enjoy Kelly's beauty. Yeah I don't have any stats on her either by the way.
So we'll just skip right to the pictures
The first stop has to be Scanlover Forum first which has a few pictures of her but they don't have a thread just for her so I compiled the threads that she is in here --
And remember you need to be logged in to see the big pictures.
